It is just before WWII, Kasumi Kenshiro hides as a quiet, absent-minded professor teaching literature at a small women's college in Tokyo. Once the 62nd Grand Master of Hokuto Shinken, "God Fist of the North Star," and known has Yan Wang, or "the King of Death," who preserved the peace in the "City of Devils." Info
studio responsible is Poligon Pictures, so at least we can expect good CG action scenes. Yoshio Kazumi (Ajin episode director) is directing the anime at Polygon Pictures, and Satoshi Ozaki supervising and writing the series scripts. Kazuma Teshigahara (Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind) and Hiromi Satō are designing the characters. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...amazon/.125718 |

At least in these works there was consistency in the episodes, of course, some looked much better than others, but there was no visible decline in the quality of the series. I can not imagine that this will start now. Quote:

this animation is almost unwatchable: The faces don't emote, the animation is stiff, the action is offscreen as if it was still '80s hand drawn style, and it seems half of it is Kenshiro standing still looking smug.
Spoiler for spoilered for size and spoiler content:

If grandiose animation and art were the only quality that mattered, then 90% of anime would not be watched, Saiki should not even have a topic of discussion, or Gintama. Last edited by LG-MAX 2.o; 2018-04-02 at 19:30. |

Actually leaving the CG out of it the direction in the first episode was bad in general. |

The problem about this though is that CGI can actually help in improving combat. Both the ongoing Toji no Miko series and Etotama can attest to that. Did they give this to a very barebones animation team?

I'm not committed to the show, but the facial expressions were on point. Everything else just isn't up to par, especially the framerates.
EDIT: That "German" guy looks like Tahm Kench, wtf.
