PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE YOU READ MY QUESTION!
Lol, i'm 110% that this question has been killed in the forums already, but i can't seem to get a definitive reason.

does anybody really know how did kakashi end up with his sharingan? or is it still unexplained in the story so far?

Nobobdy knows. As of yet, it is still unexplained, though many will offer up speculation.
