Agreed.
But, I'll probably won't have any money to get it once it's released. =/ Besides, it wouldn't fit anyway.

I got back from a convention a few days ago, and found a few figures that I really wanted. I got a Dark Magician Girl from Kotobukia and A Nendoroid Miku from GSC.
Funny thing about Dark Magician Girl. They first offered $125 for it, which is a bit cheaper than what you find online. Then the next day they offered it for $100. I coulnd't really pass that up since she's out of print. I really love her. Going into the con, I knew I wanted to grab a Miku Nendoroid if I could find one. Luckily there were plenty, so I just went with the original Miku Nendoroid. She's so cute, and I plan to get many more of her. Dark Magician Girl Spoiler for :

I gave in and ordered a Kuroneko nendoroid while she's still available.
And it looks like I'll be getting GSC's Bakemono Hitagi (second hand, the owner wants to buy the new Kotobukiya version instead)

LUCKY.
I plan to get that one soon, it's such a beautifully crafted figure. Just pre-ordered my waifu. I'm so damn happy she got another figure. And this one is just beautiful. Really looking forward to getting it, despite the large price tag. Spoiler:

I hope this is an acceptable place to ask. I've got a problem with GSC's "Akemi Homura - You are not alone" figure. Her left arm was apparently not glued to its connector.
They sent me a replacement, but I hope to salvage the original one. Can anyone suggest a good glue type to use? I was going to use regular superglue otherwise. The thing is, they didn't just send me an arm, they sent me a replacement main body as well. If I can salvage this arm and get a stand, I can put up a second figure! |

Oh yes, GSC sends you a replacement figure if your original purchase is defective and it's not on a replacable part (like for nendoroids, they will just send you an extra arm).
I used standard superglue to fix my Rider figma when her hair broke off, and I had no problem with it ever since

In terms of "figure injury", I tend to use Tacky Glue to make the repairs (although in the case of one of my Nendoroid Miku Hatsune figures, in which one of the hair pieces broke when trying to take off the pieces of plastic inserted between connecting pieces, I used tape to connect the piece back together, although I'm considering looking for another head piece to replace the damaged one).

If you have some blu-tack you can try connecting the arm with that as well. Lesser risk involved and you can always remove it if you're unsatisfied with how it looks.

I broke off one of BRS ponytails, and had a friend fix it. He drilled out both parts with a very small drill, and inserted a thin metal rod. Then he used epoxy mixed with black ink for color. Came out very good, you have to look fairly close to see it

Though I try to keep my purchases low tthe last few years (2-3 at most)
This figure (Dark Angel Olivia) might just be on my 'get' list when released (just waiting on how she looks in color)

Thanks to the advice from you guys, I salvaged the arm with superglue.
I figured you deserved to see the results too. This is the figure using the replacement body and arm GSC sent me. On the left is the salvaged arm on the original body GSC wouldn't give me an extra base, so I'm using a Tamashii stand I got some time ago. And this is the two of them along with the regular edition Homura figure |
