Don't forget Jamie from Argevollen, it's the one I recognized her voice properly from Onishi.
About this anime though, I feel like we're getting a lot of traditional fantasy stories getting animated, so that's a good news and we need to get more of these instead of fantasy stuff in school setting like Dragonar and Blade Dance (they weren't necessarily bad in itself, I got a bit tired of that). J.C Staff being part of the animation production was an proof that they should pay a little more attention to light novel adaptations and I feel like during next year, I wonder how much effort they will went in addition of Heavy Object, we will see.

Ah, Danmachi...
Let me say this first: I generally hate moe. Hate hate hate it. I've got to admit that I also tend to detest characters with the looks of Hestia with a passion, and if anyone had simply described the setting to me, I could have sworn that I'd only be able to tolerate her character... but having read the manga has changed things. Hestia is one of most _endearing_ characters I've ever come across, gradually but surely flipping my negative preconceptions bit by bit. Not because of her looks, but because of her personality. Definitely looking forward to this! |

New evidence sounds so distinguished.
Volume 6 of the light novel series has a page with the cast of characters, where names are written both in katakana and latin letters: Bell Cranel Hestia Ais Wallenstein Liliruca Arde Welf Crozzo Ryu Lion Eina Tulle Loki Hephaistios Riveria Ljos Alf Bete Loga Tiona & Tione Hiryute Finn Deimne Freya Syr Flover Ottarl Naza Ersuisu Miach Asufi Al Andromeda Hermes Mikoto Takemikazuchi Chigusa Ouka For some reason, the above naming scheme doesn't seem to match up with the official Yen Press translation, but oh well. Of note is that Sýr is an alternative name for Freya, and that Ljósálfur means light elf in Icelandic.
