As soon as I saw the counter in the OP said "10 remaining" I was confused for a moment. Turns out Sonosuke was killed off-screen somehow. Wonder what he found in that hidden room? Obviously something crucial enough to get him killed.
And Byakuya finally shows up! Not sure how big his role will be in the rest of the show but it's great to see him again. Also turns out Monaca did indeed kill the real Miaya and is controlling the fake from Towa City so Komaru and Toko are being sent to flush her out. I did not expect to see those two here.~ Damn, despite the events of Danganronpa 2 it looks like Hajime is still Izuru even after escaping the virtual world. His hair isn't super long anymore though. Looks like we're in for one hell of an interesting second half.~ |

Now, this ep. is just what I want to see in future arc! As expected from the half way ep.
- Byakuya, Koumaru and Touko. finally show up, and they know about Monaca. It's only the matter of time until Warriors of hope appear too. Danganronpa 3? more like Ultra Despair Girl 2 lol - I have to say, Monaca is the best thing in future arc so far. I lol-ed when she injected hope into Naegi and when she surprised at getting called "Warrior of hope" Still, what is Monaca master plan? She allowed Naegi and Asahina to contact with Byakuya and I bet she know that Byakuya know that Miaya is fake. Is this the war that she want since UDG? - Did Asahina just channeling Sam from the Lord of the ring? - That ending....Hinata is still ROD? - Let me guess, Ruruka forced Izayoi to eat her candy and it triggered his code.

Oh man, I'm so glad to see Byakuya showing up this episode. One of my favorite characters from Dangan Ronpa.
Also, that nightmare Naegi had is just ...creepy especially the part with Kirgiri in it.

Oh man I'm feeling pretty hype. All the characters from DGRP 1, 2 and the spinoff are finally coming together.
I noticed Izayoi's left eye had some blood underneath it (though it could be unintentional coloring ) similar to Daisaku when his forbidden action got triggered and poison was injected into him causing him to bleed from his left eye too. The thing is Izayoi's skin doesn't appear to be purple while Daisaku's skin color still retains the purple color when Kirigiri went back to the room in episode 4 around 13:24 marks. |

------- There are a few hints there - we know that Monaca isn't the culprit now but the Mastermind, as well as that there is a good chance Chisa wasn't really dead either, but just sleeing while it wasn't her turn.(Otherwise there'd be no real meaning behind Munataka stabbing her now, especially after what the director said, and her strange outbust in Despair); And as a certain detective VN/Anime's duct taping detective has taught us - the best way to make sure someone is dead is to rekill them Either that or the attacker is indeed Munataka, which would explain how he got the healing potion (or whatever it was) Another notable thing about him is that he is now in the posession of the directors weapon. Ruruka on the other hand made it on my personal list of possible culprits today, together with Chisa and Munataka. Her reaction to Izayoi's death was way too normal considering ther relationship and moreover, the knife in Seiko's corpse is missing while it was clearly there in EP 5. It could of course be a cover up for her accidentally killing Izayoi with sweets, if that was really his NG action (On that note - why does no one check the dead's NG actions - they are totally hints) However her reaction seems a bit too calculated moreover, she came out of the room Izayoi was in last, and p00f the Monokuma door is hidden again - coincidence? I doubt it. Especially considering where Izayoi's corpse was found (notably far away outside of the room) Also note the powder kirigiri found on his jacket (floor, or sugar anyone? ) My problem with her just covering up an accident is just that there would be no reason to - if that was the case she should be totally devasted and not pull a Celestia pretending to be scared as hell. A motive could be that the secret room that was found exposed Ruruka and Izaoi then did the right thing and refused to stick around. She then took it as betrayal and killed him with her sweets/the knife from Seiko's corpse. - going by how adamant she was about not caring as long as Izayoi doesn't betray her it wouldn't really surprise me. As you can see its rather easy to construct a motive for her killing people (after all she hates the foundation) - I see a lot less reason in her trying to cover up that she accidentally killed Izayoi though, other than protecting her own mind, in which case her reactions would still be strange as hell. Oh and as for those knifes - the thing Munataka is now wearing could be the the thing shooting the knives instead of the director's weapon too. The amount of people you can actually pin being the culprit on easily is suprsingly low too. As for Monaca I wonder if by 'sweet' she referred to Naegi despairing or the ice cream Meanwhile Kirigi's NG action actually really seems to be forbidden to share her deductions. - or to expose the culprit. I have zero reason to believe that Monaca is the mastermind. Just because Togami says it doesn't mean it's true. It's not like he's never been wrong before.
In addition. Yukizome is incredibly dead. Her body has been examined. Also, someone once theorized that Kirigiri is not allowed to share her findings. Which might be why she writes it all down so she can sacrifice herself if she has to by revealing everything all at once. I mean I hope it doesn't come to that, of course. She is apparently not the killer either though. As for Chisa, her body having been examined by Kirigiri means very little. There are dozens of poisons that make it impossible for even doctors to determine if someone is actually dead. Also note that the knife in her chest is also missing. - and yes she is dead for sure after all she has been re-killed now.

On the other hand we got Munataka who was suddenly in the posession of Seiko's drug. Notably the very one she held right before she died.

Unless they're pulling a fast one on us it certainly indicates Hajime's personality is still that of Izuru's.
I dunno if all that happened in the end of DR2 was all for nothing, but I sure hope it wasn't. |
