Nice job at the end there treating the argument as a truly apocalyptic event. Which I suppose is somewhat fair. And all because Grea let someone into her room.
But now we've had all the fights out of the way. So next time we can go straight into the wedding or at least some sort of proposal scene .

I don't really get why Grea refused to let Anne into her room. I guess a possible explanation is that she knew that if she did, Anne wouldn't leave and they'd be forced to have that sleep-over she's been dying for. Silly Grea, all you need to do to avoid the "shame" of hugging your tail is hugging Anne instead.

Oh, man. That seemingly innocent application to share a room with Grea is definitely a plot that Anne has been scheming since she couldn't even do a sleepover with her lol. She definitely waited this long as the students left the academy for break to get Grea while she was vulnerable. Much respect to Anne. Also surprised but not surprised that she still kept some of Grea's old skin. Anne, you creep!
Very fun and relaxing show. There were some misses, but overall a fun time. I wouldn't mind a second season of this. With the blu-ray sales being what they are for vol. 1, I'm optimistic of its success for the future volumes to release. |

As always....Anne is really something . What else can you say about a person who kept some of Grea's shedding so she can sniff it at any time? I'm not sure Grea is going to be safe during this new room arrangement .
I suppose the new room arrangement was as far as the show was willing to go. If they ever did go for a season 2 then they can go right up to the political marriage. Maybe Anne can survive the rest of her life with Grea's shedding, but I have my doubts. These two countries are getting a political marriage down the road whether they are ready for it or not . Anyways this was a cute show. Grea was adorable. Anne was...well herself. They had some nice moments considering the short nature of the series. It looked great and left me with plenty of smiles.

I could go for a thousand more episodes of this.
I knew Anne wouldn't go away and leave her Grea forever. Although catching her right when she's feeling at her loneliest to get her to sign the application for sharing rooms may be a bit underhanded, but it's all good. Lol @ Anne "sneaking" out of the palace. "Hiding" behind her bag as she passes by a formal ballroom, passing in full view of kitchen staff, and capping it off with an explosion... Stealth is clearly not her highest skill. Ha! She actually managed to hold on to Grea's shed skin. Oh Anne...

It hadn't really crossed my mind, but do you really think Anne planned all this so she could get Grea to sign the application in a moment of "weakness"? It's certainly something Anne would be capable of doing, but it didn't seem that way to me.
Normally, you'd have Grea move into Anne's huge room, but Anne probably chose Grea's room to talk her into sleeping in the same bed by saying there's not enough room. Man, I need a S2 badly. I'm dying to see them sharing a room. Anne sniffing Grea's molted skin and saving she loves her smell... oh wow, that girl I'm really going to miss this series.

Planned? No, I don't think so. She was about to tell Grea about it before Owen called her away, and she gave Grea the application then. Grea just didn't open it. No, I don't think Anne planned for this to turn out this way. But she was quite willing to take advantage of the situation when it happened.

I imagine she managed to grab another piece of skin after Grea took her first one away. Or she dug through the trash for it. |

Enjoyed it. Was a fun ride. And would watch if they make more. Quote:
That could encourage them for a season 2. Can you link the source website for the 14k? thanks

BD sales ranking is published on oricon, but that's in Japanese. I found this translation for you, but it's from March 12 so it's somewhat outdated

Got a great sense of character from Grea and Anne throughout the series, could definitely watch them in something with more plot. I heard the game also has a goblin hunter and cutesy goblin mage pairing, wouldn't mind seeing them... |

I think Anne's actual character flaw is feeling lonely despite actually having a lot friends. Sure you could say those aren't close friends and whatnot, but game Anne never had a problem with that. Anne's loneliness is more an emotional issue she has, rather than being alone or lacking on friends.
Just to make things clear, I think giving Anne this character flaw was a good idea. Game Anne came across as way too perfect and I never really liked her. Anime Anne feels more human, more grounded.

Well said about humanising flaws. Loneliness is perhaps a flaw in terms of a weakness, rather than a moral flaw. Keeping and sniffing Grea's pantsu, sorry, shed skin, could certainly be termed a moral flaw by ungenerous people. Anne's loneliness might stem from the involuntary personal weakness that she finds it difficult to form intimate friendships with those beneath her station. Strongly driving her to strengthen her intimate bond with Grea, and to chose to do so by morally questionable means, so that the weakness leads to the flaw (not saying she's Kuroko from Railgun or anything, or that Anne and Grea's relationship is all about them being Princesses. You'd imagine that it helps, but they're also both similarly talented, and have personally a strong affinity, attraction and care).
