After watching both music videos I do think the songs are better when what the normally get from Poppin Party in Bang Dream but not as good as the ones from some other bands there (or as recent Bocchi the Rock songs).
The question is will it be an actual series or something akin to the recdnt Pole Princess with just a bunch of MVs and shoerepisodes with a story.

You know, Bang Dream only benefited from switching to CGI as it allowed them to make performances almost every episode without working the staff to death, so it will be the least concern. But it is hard to say as the second MV is not CGI.

I actually really like how the final CGI turned out but no one has picked this up for simulcast so all we have is meme subs in English. First episode was promising enough; I'll stick with it for now, assuming we continue to get subs.

It was actually pretty good. But no official English subs and no decent fansubs either. I will still try watching it but eh...

I'm not sure I'm feeling this after the second episode especially when the only real option is memesubs. The CG quality seems to have dipped and none of the girls introduced so far is that likeable, moreover the lead is quickly becoming insufferable. I might give it another episode.

I wanted to get some opinions on that. For the first episode, I polished off my 43 year-old French lessons and got a general sense of what was happening. The English subs available at Nyaa are so full of people flaming each other in the comments that I haven't wanted to try any of them.
In your humble opinions, is this show worth the grief of finding a watchable version, or am I better off just sticking with the many other shows about girls in showbiz that are running this season? |

And yes, IMHO, unless you hate CGI or this kind of music the show is really worth the watch.

I liked the new song less than the previous two, but the performance by our Liar, Coward and Dropout trio was pretty cool. The twist with a new DD vocalist was pretty predictable (though, I was sure it will be a girl who bullied Nina, but seems like it was just a former friend who did not took her side).
New arrangement of DD song indeed sounded more "poppy" but I wonder if the staff is trying to jab Bang Dream here with their approach to girl-bands here?
