One Manga is closed, so it really doesn't matter anymore...
btw, What's with all the Butterfly hate? Japan created Mothra after all, and Mothra ended up being one of the biggest baddest mofos around. So, let's give a little more respect to our winged brethern...especially when they get teloportation powers, and can kill major characters (with silly backstories) in one blow. Besides Papillon paved the way for Aizen (I'm sure there were multiple JoJo characters that also helped the "movement"), so if your going to blame anyone, blame 'Ol Pappy... -Anyone else find it incredibly ironic that Tite Kubo himself was surprised that many fans, women especially, were fond of Gin (he designed him to be creepy)? And now with 415 in tow, it seems like the fangirls were right all along about him. Anyone else surprised at this?

What's happened to Kyoka Suigetsu? Ai-chan doesn't appear to have it stashed upon his person, and it's not in his hand, as evidenced by him using his sword hand to slash Gin.
Also, what happened to Ai-chan's subordinates from the flashback. They may not have been to Gin's future level, but they would have been useful to Ai-chan as cannon fodder or to distract Soul Society in his inevitable war against them - he'd have used them at some point. |

Btw Papillion had good reason to want to be beautiful and free, his entire life had sucked beforehand. Not that we know ANYTHING about Aizen's past Aaaanyway, the chapter's pretty standard bleach, Aizen survives, someone's trying to look cool, flashback incoming. Can't wait to get out of this routine. |

Almost reminds me of Bleach fighting games where players have Ichigo spamming GTs.

Shirosaki has a rabid following, but in size they're nothing like the hoards of Hitsugaya and Rukia drones... Tensa Zangetsu is too new to have a real following yet (and will hopefully never be seen again, because old man Zangetsu is a hundred times cooler and less girly-looking)... And I don't even want to think about what kind of person picks Hamtaro for their Bleach role model... -_-'

Unless you're The Monarch. The Monarch is the shit. He'd have whipped Aizen's ass up one side of Soul Society and back down the other by now, except Aizen never did anything to piss him off... Until now...

I enjoyed this chapter immensely. Kubo just tops himself each chapter .
Even more amusing is how everyone in the thread just gave up on making any sense of this and is just enjoying the show by making humourous comparisons to "Butterflaizen"

waaaah, i'm so confused.
At first I thought Aizen was GIVING the ball to his cronies (to show it off or whatever) and Gin pulled a backstab because he was jealous that he never got to play with it. But then it looks like he's TAKING it from them, which means that the cronies somehow had the power to steal/fetch the Hogyoku. But it STILL looks like Aizen's giving them something what with the cupped hands and all. And what was up with Rangiku? Was she Urahara's original "carrier" for the Hogyoku? Or maybe they were stealing "spirit energy" from her to try to power the Hogyoku up or something. And is that supposed to be the first time Gin and Rangiku met? It shouldn't be, because then he wouldn't care so much about her to develop a 100 year grudge. Unless.... what they did to her somehow messed with her memory so to HER, it was their first meeting, which might also explain why she says can't remember her birthday... ARGH. |

The way I read the Rangiku situation, it could turn out one of two ways. The obvious being that she was an original carrier of the hougyoku and is somehow involved (perhaps even without her knowledge).
The second, and I think more plausible theory, is that she has nothing to do with it whatsoever. Aizen's cronies roughed her up/raped her (her yukata is all spread open etc.) and Gin put two and two together himself when he saw them with Aizen. The two incidents aren't related - just happen to be a coincidence - and from that Gin built up a lifetime of hatred towards Aizen and planned to make him pay. Given Kubo's past writing style, having it be revealed at some point that Aizen had nothing to do with Rangiku being attacked and furthermore had no knowledge of it could be very plausible.
