.srt subtitles font suddenly changed

I've been using .srt soft subs for certain videos for a while, and the font for them has always a been normal sized font.

However suddenly they just became a huge blocky font that covers half the video screen...

does anyone know how to revert my font back to the way it was or how to change it?

What video player are you using, and what subtitle software do you have installed? (CCCP would count as subtitle software, here.)

I mainly use core media player, however i also have vlc and winamp.

I'm sorry but i'm not sure what subtitle software i have installed. I've never had any problems playing .srt or .ssa files with my players. If a subtitle software is required to play those then one was probably included in one of my players that i am unaware of.

if you have got a ffdshow icon or divx icon on the traybar, then there will be an option to change to font/size of the subtitles.
