True... Though as usual, Setsuna can get rather irrational at times when his past is brought up. No excuses, of course, what he did was silly. One can even say this is a thinly disguised plotdevice, as now Setsuna can't leave her alone anymore because she knows who he is. One way or another, she is in CB's radar until she dies.
And now we know the political link too; the Queen's nation destroyed Setsuna's country. Quote:
One can argue that CB's been a major threat to all 3 powers from day one, and they are all doing their best to take it down. So what are the public protesting about? I mean, it's not like CB's being ignored or anything. And if you get attacked by terrorists, by all intent you should be protesting against those who attacked you, not the attacker's enemies. EDIT: The optic camo explains how the Gundams could evade Satellite surveillance while stored out in the open.

Wonder if the optical camo system is more comparable to Full Metal Panic's ECS (an array of oscillating lasers creating some sort of ray-dispersing shroud) or CE's mirage colloid. Knowing that Celestial Being's mechs largely rely on unknown properties of solar particles, I guess it'd be more like an MC than anything else.
Oh, and Omni's Blog has screencaps up. Summary is pending, though.

Not knowing the sequence of events in this one, we shouldn't be hasty to judge the scene yet. Although from the looks of things, Exia just stabbed the sabers, which would be ideal for such weapons in that situation.

Anyway, the physics of beam weaponry in this show is different from previous one. So previous rules from Seed don't apply here. So if beam weapons work, they work (just like they do in Wing). Great to see that MAs are a mainstay in this universe too.

However, I don't think it's the first one. Deathscythe did use its Beam Scythe underwater once. Last edited by Duo Maxwell; 2007-11-24 at 09:55. |
