That's more of a wallpaper, my friend. Okay... recent desktop after a thorough reformat, installation and updating of everything on my workstation (no thanks to that "infinite loop" nv4_disp glitch):

Ok I have a somewhat weird desktop. Here it is:
Spoiler:
Notice my odd arrangement of the icons and the taskbar being on the top. Its a pain to re-arrange all the icons. Since Windows loves to reset them to the left every now and then (whenever I change resolutions or use Remote Desktop Connection from my laptop) I can use windows with the taskbar on top or bottom now. I've gotten used to both. I arranged it on top since the first computer I ever used when I was a child had Windows 95 and the taskbar was on top. I distinctly remembered that. Plus I used to use Macintosh allot when I was in grade school. I find it easier to use to have the icons organized like that. Makes things easier to find. Plus, it looks neater then having everything crammed on the left. Notice the "Desktop 2" folder ontop. I have ALOT of stuff. Some of which I don't use often, so I have a second desktop of sorts for it. There's even a third desktop folder in the second desktop folder!. Dam I have too much stuff. Think of it as a testament to how well I maintain my computer. I don't have to reinstall windows/reformat too often, so programs will easily build up over time. And since I have a butt load of harddrive space, I never bother to uninstall stuff I don't use. Why bother? My computer still runs as fast as when I first installed Windows, so there's really no need to go through the trouble of uninstalling all that crap. Infact I never lost any sigificant amount of data for several years. Its even survived several new harddrive upgrades and such. I currently have 2 SATA 300GB hardrives, and lets just say, it took several hours to migrate the data. And here's a bonus. A screenshot of my HUGE startmenu!: Spoiler:
Ugh, I need to do some house cleaning lol. Good luck trying to read all that. I have 600GB in total hardrive space, so all that is just a drop in the bucket for me. I have a dual boot system that has Windows XP Pro (my primary OS) and Windows Vista Ultimate. I don't use Vista too much. Mostly due to hardware incompatibilities and the fact that I just hate it. Plus had I started out with Vista and installed all that stuff under Vista...I know for sure Vista would have exploded from something...Its not stable enough for me.
