@USB: The Librarian and Meganekko Princess? I may or may not introduce them... I really need to think where I want to go with Library Wars.
Also, a diversion I need, because I'm getting a bit tired of traditional OC stuff - and it was only a matter of time before I made this: Spoiler for Long Crack is Long:
Yes now Nanoha stuffs.... ergh coming later. <.<

Hmm, only Hikaru on my part, and she's going to be a mage, nothing extraordinary like a sentoukijin or some other 'secret weapon' Though like I said, I haven't really found a role for her yet. I have to give her a clear purpose, otherwise I can't write with her. I'm not stopping you. Quote:
Sounds like a good idea, though my knowledge of Macross is very small, so I probably won't be much of a help. Grab and alter my OC's if you wish though. |

Beginning intervention.

...though... ...this gives me some Khrack about where the League has tentacles next. Like to see what comes of this. It being so toasted from warfare gives me Khrack to throw in SOPCC, Nod and the Shadow Clan onto the planet for an explosive summer movie. Quote:

What I found appalling was after that. During the run up to Cradle's launch, Midchilda forces mounted practically a non-existent defence. And whatever Aces were stationed there, were next to useless save our Mary Sues. I look at this and I facepalm. How does an organization like this administrate Time Space? 99% of the villains and aliens I've created will WTFpwn these lassies. As much as I wish that the TSAB has maybe an ounce of a horde army to make up for the sorry lack of power, but so far, it looks hopeless. I guess I was right that a small detachment of Necrons could hold the counter-invasion force at bay with ease in CrosyS. And TSAB forces get slaughtered at Meggido. Which also brings me to the next theory being pushed forward that the TSAB actually controls only a handful of stars, not the hundreds and hundreds AWs that we may have thought possible. Most of the worlds they've know of fall under NAW status, and this giant ring of desolate worlds is what's cushioning them from the harsh realities of the greater multiverse that destroyed an Empire that once truly administrated these worlds. I like how your Belka feel much more connected to the old days, rather than the culturally white-washed Saint Church. I can safely say, we have much to expect from this man... Yes... It is all falling to plan... The seeds of corruption shall be planted, and their True Name whispered. The Heresy is coming. Quote:

So far all I can see is that they can control the threat of Nod, and only just. Sad to say, when the crunch comes, the responsibility of defending Ordered Space would fall solely on SOPCC, the Saint Guard and whatever remnant of the old GDI that steps up. Quote:

Once again, another amazing episode of great Justice! All that magic really tore the arena to shreds. And while it was gratuitiously over the top, given the nature of things they were up against, I expected no less. This further reinforces the theory that TSAB is frankly, not much of a administrator of Time Space as a whole. Not enough power density to able to exert control. Quote:

Also, I've said that to everyone and I'll say it again: There is no such thing as respect through veterancy in OC, only those who earned it. Frankly, pushing rank around is one thing I hate the most, and would definitely make the thread even more closed than it already is... I admit many parties, including myself, had a part to play in this mess, and so once and for all, can we stop attacking each other? And sometimes, excessive talking just KILLS inspiration. After I remade Rinya's ID Cardm I had the idea to make some improvements to Elric.
I replaced the two pictures of his Device in Range Mode and Sealed Mode with a single picture, like I did with Rinya's Device. Spoiler for Carnage:
I also added two new pictures to help visualize some details of my character. Spoiler for Other:
And I must say, this picture I found in the Image Thread pretty much fits my Dark Future Setting :3 Quote:

Besides, elite enemies are made to be taken down by elite heroes, not nameless grunts. :3 Eh, more or less a TSAB thing as a whole, just that RF6 had a ludicurous amount of firepower. 1 SS-rank, 3 S-ranks, 2 AAA-rank, 1 AA-rank, 2 A-rank and a bunch of B and below during its founding. At the end, the B-ranks and below had risen to AA and A rank. That's pretty hefty for a unit that's not even an 'elite' unit by name. Quote:

Also note that Rogue Squadron is currently subject to alterations. Most likely they'll become a SAFA unit. Quote:

But as long it dosn't look too much like Carnage you're pretty much free to go. Well... Carnage is based on a Predator's Wrist Blades/Forearm Computer mixed with Midchilda Device typical characteristics. I'm sure you can come up with your own Equip Device easily.

Thank you that you like it
It's the form of the Device. On the official ID Cards I saw that Mach Calibur and Blitz Calibur are descriped as "Intelligent / Equip", and Kerykeion as "Boost / Equip". While Raising Heart and Bardiche for example are both "Intelligent / Rod". So I figured that Equip means that the device is worn like a glove or shoe. Quote:
I also once had the Idea to give Vivio Carnage in the future... but I dropped that again. Quote:
I draw most of my stuff myself and don't have much need in searching the internet for something like that.

Eh. I've had all kinds of ideas for Vivio's device. I'm still hashing out what I want to do with the story I'm working on (though I think my latest idea is a pretty solid one), but I've got most of the devices for my characters set in stone.
Rico gets Gurren, which is basically the forearm unit of Gurren Lagann. A standard dual gauntlet-style device like RK coupled with a pair of boots, its' first boosted form consists of drill units that come out the sides of each gauntlet to enhance penetration on Rico's punches, and Flier Fin-style wings on the boots to provide a speed boost. The Full Drive form causes the armor of the boots and gauntlets to extend up Rico's legs and arms, and the units sprout a bunch of Strada-style rocket boosters to enhance Rico's speed even further and render him flight-capable. His control over the rockets coupled with a bunch of tricks, spells, and special maneuvers he invented make him a match for most dedicated air combat mages in this form. The other devices are somewhat less developed but I still have general ideas of what I want from the other characters... except Vivio. I'm really not sure what to do with her. I don't want to take the obvious route and give her an RH knockoff, so my initial thought was a double-ended halberd/RH hybrid. Then I got to thinking about hand-to-hand combat and thought of those gloves, and from there I somehow jumped to giving her a pair of Riot Zamber storage devices. Gah, need guidance much.

Skipping over a lot of breaker in a hurry.

Kha, you do realise, don't you, that the Gespenst is at best a C to B-rank unit? The only reason it's viable is because 1) Kai is fucking BADASS and 2) the Gespenst variants are A/AA-rank equivalent. Gespensts are puny cannon fodder. Until Kai gets his hand on one, that is, but then Kai is like the God of Gespensts. Quote:

Or you could just you know NOT make wanktastic villains with no basis in canon and then whine that they’re too strong for the TSAB to fight... Really IMO this is stupid instead of making these wanked out villains and then having to derail canon EVEN MORE by inventing shit to try and stop them why not I don’t know make villains the TSAB can reasonably fight to start with. You keep ranting about how the universe is full of big bad scary stuff, but the fact is canon shows none of this which forces us to conclude that you know maybe the Nanoha verse just isn’t that dangerous and the TSAB army is adequate for what it has to deal with most of the time. Canada doesn’t need a fleets of nuclear carriers, missiles, and bombers for instance and perhaps, just PERHAPS the TSAB knows more about the space it lives in then we do and doesn’t need massive numbers of heavy weapons either. An insane idea I know, and one I’m sure you’ll merrily ignore to keep whining about how weak the TSAB is compared to your latest superpowered evil doer. At some point it just gets to be that the issue isn’t with the TSAB or Nanoha it’s with all of you ramming stuff from other universes which is WAY overpowered into the setting and then realizing “huh you know I don’t think the good guys could really stop this…” This is YOUR fault and frankly not canons. I built the villains in my fic around what we see in Nanoha dangerous, but in universe and of a level that the TSAB and the good guys can reasonably fight. You’re approach meanwhile seems to be “take random super powered evil doers from another universe, apply only most vague Nanoha trappings, proceed to whine that resulting force is WAY too powerful for the TSAB to fight.” Well NO SHIT if I took say the Daedalus from Stargate and rammed in into Marcoss it would be hideously overpowered and basiclly unstoppable just rampaging over everything. Which is hardly Macross’s fault! It’s also coincidently a damn good reason why you shouldn’t do it… Quote:
Quote:
That said this gives me and idea... Macross OC thread?! Spread teh madness for the lulz!

Once the Wanderer is prepared however... Quote:
My inference from that is: 1. Average units with proper power distribution needs no limiter. 2. It is possible for said pet elites to bypass the Accumulation of Power restriction. Given the nature of their work, what they routinely come up against, and their very strong allies high up in the administration, I believe that is so. The number of elite mages in the general population then become a limiting factor in the proliferation of such units though... Quote:
(I doubt you'd get this ref, but it started with the first model, mentioned in the Codex, coming in a suitcase... :3) That can play so many mind tricks while everything is keikakudoori, on top of being the single most powerful being in living and undead memory? You are not prepared... Quote:
Quote:
Unfortunately, with the revisions to the other races other than Spawn and Necron, Leadership is less of a problem to them, which means the TSAB isn't at much more of an advantage. And that's assuming their crappy strategy is just because of the defenders being messed around by the Brains, and only after the wannabe Aeolias got the bump were they able to scrape together something. If not, it shows that the TSAB doesn't even have Leadership 10... How much more gimped can they get in our abnormal multiverse? Think WoW Orcs. The ones with brains, familiar physiology, and speak of the Lok'Thar. But now in space. I prefer these Orcs to the Space Orks. And Thrall is awesome. FOR THE HORDE! :3 Scenes like grunts with an inspiring commander roaring his entire unit into a hotblooded charge, resulting in the company outspamming the opposition. Said CO is just shy of Nanoha's level, but he then makes it up with lots of GAR. A homage to the God of Gespenst. All falls to pieces. How could I forget? Quote:
Kha summoned Alistina instead of Vivio I guess? But I was talking about changing the KhaxNanoha alternate ending for Fate that I created for Cente Gravia that has no equivalent in FSN. Have Keroko instead, or Kha winning both sisters. :3 Quote:

Though given the mess we've created, I'd call it Warcraft Galaxies. Quote:
Though I must admit, even with their combined firepower, that rarely penetrates the high Invulnerable Saves of elite villains, and I'm not even talking about those who Feel No Pain on top of that... And I'm weighing the political risk of the unit going on a rampage VS the unit being unable to cope with the power level of the threat. Not like the US is worried of her Marines turning on her, despite Bush's stupidity, doesn't it? Quote:
Ja I somehow missed it while reading... >< Quote:

Quote:
*prays for Wild Goose's soul now that he has cast it into the open.* @TK: Yes I'm complaining because I thought of them to be better and now I got to change things. But it's minimal; just shrunk TSAB area of control to match its power.
