Variable Framerate Rx....what the hell is this?

This is not my program! I saw this and thought I would get the community's opinion on this.

Personally, I think I will stick with Tritical's package for now. Hell, it doesn't even have a lossless output!

I have just downloaded this application's source and read it, it's a fairly simple c#/.net GUI which will convert a file that can be played back using DirectShowSource, the application generates an .avs file which contains
"#ASYNTHER DirectShowSource\nDirectShowSource(*insert filename*, fps=*selected output fps*, convertfps=true, framecount=*calculated framecount*).ChangeFPS(*selected output fps*)"
I'm a bit unsure why exactly does it need the first line or the redundant ChangeFPS, but I saw vdubmod do the same thing for its autogenerated files, maybe can shed some light.
It then proceeds to running
AVSProxy as described here by creating the dummy files and running the application, it then runs avidemux2_gtk.exe to encode and output a file.
This is not a replacement for Tritical's tools, it's just a simple GUI for non-encoder folk to batch re-encode VFR files to CFR.
The thing also comes with a peculiar Microsoft license.
