I absolutely love the Colbert Report. Hes brilliant in choosing to play the "idiot right wing" character, taken from Bill O'Riley. I would say he has the best writers in the business. Personally i think its much better than the daily show *runs from stewart fans*

The Colbert Report is a spin-off of and counterpart to The Daily Show which, like The Daily Show, critiques politics and the media. It satirizes personality driven political pundit programs, particularly Fox News The O'Reilly Factor. The show focuses on Stephen Colbert, a fictional anchorman character played by Colbert. The character, described by Colbert as a well-intentioned, poorly informed, high-status idiot, is a caricature of televised political pundits.

i like both the daily show and the colbert report, i admit that i watch the daily show more, i am not sure why but i always watch it when it is on. colbert is good too, which i have been watching too, but i guess i like the daily show more? idk.
