To be perfectly honest, I would prefer if the story were a new spin off the old one. Not that the manga isn't great, it's just more original stuff would be awesome in a series that leaves so little in that respect.
Also, I loved Romi, but I also loved the English dub for this, as Vic was probably the most amazing English voice actor for an anime I ever heard (seriously, I think this is the only series that I liked the English dub as much as the original). I hope they do both! |

As for the title? Well, perhaps someone else would inherit the title of fullmetal? |

i dont get one thing..i dont think there is a possibility that they`ll now make FMA remake true to the manga. (many reasons, including the most obvious - only hard core fans would be interested in watching, most of the people are expecting the story so far to continue)
so, they `ll most likely continue from Shamballa. it could be expected that story would be about Elric brothers trying to get back home and to destroy nazi`s bomb, but who on Earth would want to watch that?and how are they suppose to make Fullmetal Alchemist, if no one in the show can perform alchemy.. *me deeply worried* i really hated that pararel worlds conclusion of the show.. gotta go back to reading the manga.. since i havent finished reading yet, i can still hope that the manga story allows merging with anime story ..and that it will happen in the new episodes..

I'm pretty sure the manga is close to ending. And remember, there is still about 4 months left before this series starts, and after that, it'll run for another year. And I'd assume that the manga will end in less than 16 months, if it really IS close to the end. So it's possible that they might be able to complete the story this time.

@Subzero00: yea you see.. THEY AREN'T YOUR SLAVES. They can do whatever the hell they want.
many love the manga and want to see it move, so... that's what they'll be doing. it's also easier to write since everything's pretty much alrdy written. anyway, why are whining? if you dont like it, dont watch. simple. Last edited by Konpachi; 2008-11-19 at 20:34. |
