Damn it not that day again

Tomorrow is April 1st, who knows how many new anime adaptations are going to be announced tomorrow that are going to be April Fools Joke

But I want to remind you of something... Some of the boy's light novels published under the shounen light novel label "Dengeki Bunko", got announced to be getting animated on April 1st.

The boy's light novel series Toradora! (a Dengeki Bunko light novel series) got an anime announcement on April 1st, 2008. which turned out to be true.

The boy's light novel series Shakugan no SHANA (a Dengeki Bunko light novel series) got an announcement of a second anime season on April 1st, 2007. which also turned out to be true.

Will another shounen light novel series from the "Dengeki Bunko" label get an anime announcement on April 1st, 2009 too... we'll see...

It already *is* April 1 in Japan right now, and Moon Phase is all hot and bothered about a "something-ification" of Ladies vs Butlers announced in Dengeki Bunko-- could be an anime or something else. (Source: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/moonphase/20090331#p1)

Ahh I want to mention one more thing concerning the Minisuka Uchuu Pirates light novel series that's mentioned above. Its being published under a new light novel label titled Asahi Novels, which as mentioned here, just started on October 21st, 2008.

Which makes me really doubt this announcement >_< its just a new light novel label, and the light novel series just has 1 volume out (for now).

Or maybe its for real, and they want to mimic the Dengeki Bunko habit?

Anyway, lets wait and see...

Edit:

Anime announcements that are mentioned as "April Fools?" on MoonPhase Diary I'm not going to mention them :P

The TV special is set to air sometime in March as part of Nippon Television’s and Yomiuri Television’s 55th and 50th anniversary celebrations, respectively, and is being produced under the collaboration of the series’ original creators Monkey Punch and Gosho Aoyama.

No details on the plot or actual airdate as of yet.
Lupin vs Conan was incredibly entertaining.
I couldn't find any threads on this here to talk about it though.

Princess Lover?

Hot damn. I don't play ero games that much, but even among the few that I have tried, this one stood out on its own.

Nothing ground-breaking in terms of story, but as a whole it's very well made. Having looked at the PV from the homepage, I'm glad that the quality of the anime is of a higher standard as well.

The anime adaptation of the Minisuka Uchuu Pirates light novel series might be for real... I would like to wait a little more time just to be totally sure >_<

Yeah, I already saw the original announcement. If no announcement of it being an April Fools joke till tomorrow, I'll mention it here to be for real, and I'll add it to the Upcoming Anime List.

Anyway, another adult OVA adaptation, but something seems fishy about this >_> another April Fools joke ??? why is this fishy, read about it on the bottom of this post...

The following content contains adult links and images (NSFW).

The adult men's manga Chinetsu Karte The Devilish Cherry by Drill Murata will be getting an adult OVA adaptation.

The anime will be released under the adult anime brand Suzuki Mirano. Its first OVA episode will be released on June 26th, 2009.

Getchu's page for the first OVA episode:
http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=638385

Manga info:

==========

恥熱カルテ The Devilish Cherry
Chinetsu Karte The Devilish Cherry

The manga was published under the adult men's comic imprint "Mujin Comics".

Manga cover:

Spoiler:

Mangaka: Drill Murata

==========

What's so fishy about this adult OVA? well, if you remember just a while back I mentioned the adult OVA adaptation of the Hitoriga manga. The first OVA episode of the "Hitoriga" anime will be released on June 26th, 2009, also the first OVA episode of the anime I just mentioned here will also be released on June 26th, 2009. I never ran into this before, two adult anime adaptations, being announced one after the other, and both of them get their first OVA episode released on the same day (June 26th, 2009)

There's a possibility that that was just by luck (both of them getting their first episodes released on the same day), and they are both real... but its more possible that one or both of them are April Fool jokes

I had enough of this day its getting me busy announcing what is most likely April Fools jokes

The adult OVA adaptations of the Chinetsu Karte The Devilish Cherry manga and the Hitoriga manga seems to be true... they are still mentioned on Getchu's site, if they weren't true they would have been removed by now.

The same thing about the anime adaptation of the Minisuka Uchuu Pirates light novel series. It's still mentioned on the news, so I guess its true... I'll be adding it to the Upcoming Anime List.

Ok, other than that there's also new anime that will be distributed to cell phones...

From AnimeNation Blog:

Quote:
Docomo to Distro New Cel Phone Anime
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Japanese mobile phone service provider NTT Docomo has launched its “BeeTV” service which will provide three new anime series via cel phones. Avex Entertainment produces Azabu Juuban Gakuen, Shiawase no Hitsuji, and Suzu-3-taro.

Azabu Juuban Gakuen will launch in May as a series of 36 one-minute episodes that updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Shiawase no Hitsuji will be 100 five-minute daily episodes starting in May. Suzu-3-taro will premiere in June as a series of 24 two-minute episodes released every Monday and Thursday.

Source: Anime News Network
I'll also be adding these anime to the Upcoming Anime List... but I'll put "Cell Phone Anime" beside these anime titles to distinguish them from anime titles that are broadcasted on TV.
