Hey, Fuyu! Long time no see!

Actually, syna already did post Nena's profile quite a while ago.

Keroko and the rest have already more or less approved of Nena's abilities, etc.

Speaking of which, I gotta hurry up in my school projects so I can go back and dig up the backlog. >.> I haven't even been able to give Nena's profile a good look and haven't had my say just yet. Not to mention that I need to read the fic itself instead of some random peeks during my free time. D: I think I remember Oseng posting a new OC there as well...

Well, if she posted Nena's profile there and it's been mostly approved, then I think her story would go best in Cadia. The FF thread mostly gets confused with OCs, if my memory serves me

Backlog, huh? Sounds fun I can't really do it, because if I attacked all the backlog I have, I'd have to start from the first OC thread and around page 250... >>;; it'd take me a full year

Yuuno looked up at the sky through the random patches between leaves fluttering over his head. Back against a tree, he inhaled the air heavily before letting it out with a long, content sigh. His book was against his leg, held lightly by the spine after being just finished. To his amazement, the sounds of battle were gone now, despite the illusion of a forrest staying on the training field. "Ah?" A surprised sound escaped his lips as something cold touched his cheek. Turning, he saw a giggling Nanoha in her standard flight instructor outfit, slightly messy from the morning session with her students. "Thank you," He took the drink that he was surprised with and popped the top.

"Lost in thought?" Nanoha asked curiously while sitting down next to him. "If you were on a battlefield, you'd be toast."

"Good thing I don't fight anymore, huh?" Their normal playful tone came at once, picking at each others chosen profession. "If you weren't fighting all the time, maybe you'd lose your virginity before now."

"Hey, no fair." Nanoha pouted cutely before grinning and taking a sip of her own drink. "So, how long will you be here?"

"Two weeks at the most, just until the library system is set up here."

"Thank you again for coming to make sure everything went okay. I'm thankful my students can finally have the resources needed."

"Only you would assign homework for military training."

Nanoha sniffed indignantly. "Hey, it's important to know of past battles and how they were won. I can train their reflexes and bodies, but the knowledge that comes with it can only be from experiance. and-"

"In battle, learning from others is better than learning yourself." Yuuno finished her sentence, being one of his favourite quotes.

"Exactly." Leaning against the tree as well, the two looked up together. "The wind feels good."

"Doesn't it?" He grinned lightly. "Sometimes I miss being outside so much."

"Wait until the middle of summer or winter, then you'll be happy you're inside all day." She nudged her friend with her elbow. "Or maybe you'd meet a nice girl if you got out more."

"Hey, there are girls at the library!"

"Yeah, and you're one of them." Her words got a sharp blush. "Does anyone there see you as a male?" Nanoha's hand moved around Yuuno's shoulders, pulling his long ponytail up to wiggle it.

"I-It looks professional!" The man defended, ruined by his stammering.

Nanoha hummed, playing with the hair a moment. "Your hairband is all worn."

"Yeah, it doesn't hold it very well anymore."

Nanoha thought a moment. "Well then, how about a present?" Moving happily, she shifted so she was sitting on yuuno's outstretched legs. "Lean forward for me.... thank you." Her fingers pinched the band and moved it along the hair until it was free to be pulled up onto her wrist. "Now then..." Now reaching up, she pulled her own dark green hairband. "Here..." She finger combed the male's hair before twisting and pulling to make it go into a high cheerleader style ponytail.

"Nanoha...I say..."

"It looks cute," she declared merrily. The wind caught her own hair and blew it out behind her.

"Okay, fine." he smiled up at her as her hands rested on his shoulders. His palms went to her waist and the two simple looked at each other for a few moments

"Nanoha-san!?" Subaru's voice came through the forest. "Are you here-oh?" She stopped skating as she saw the two. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt."

"Subaru!" Nanoha smiled brightly at her old student. Standing, she helped Yuuno up as well before dusting off her skirt. "I thought you weren't scheduled to be here until this afternoon? I wasn't expecting you."

"I could tell," The girl grinned like a cat.

"Shush." Nanoha took Yuuno's hand to pull him along as they walked. "Have you checked in yet?"

"Not yet."

"Then go check in, I'll meet you after I finish up here." Subaru opened her mouth but was cut off. "Don't even say it." A small laugh came at her and she blushed darkly, glancing upwards lightly at the male. A wink came back at her, which Subaru caught as well.

"No flirting on the training field," Subaru told them, mimicking what Nanoha had told her in the past." With that, she turned and skated off, laughing loudly.

"Subaru!" Nanoha glared, ears red. After a few moments, she turned and looked up at Yuuno again. "Um, yeah... I need to go catch up with her... Tonight?"

"Of course," He answered the unasked question for a date. "Go have fun, I'll see you later."

"Thanks." With that, she hopped away happily, turned to wave once more, and sped off to chase down her friend.

Looking back up at the sky, Yuuno took another deep breath. "I should visit more often..."

Yeah, i'm inclined to think that as well, Syn. To define shiny's story as crack is just a compliment, but to define it categorically, something i tend to do, i'd define it as humor romance with jail scaglietti

perhaps to write a fic like that at all is crackish, but fanfiction always cracks those inexplicable boundaries :P

Now i recall shiny's fic with touma, that was reaaally cracky \m/

"Doesn't it?" He grinned lightly. "Sometimes I miss being outside so much."

"Wait until the middle of summer or winter, then you'll be happy you're inside all day." She nudged her friend with her elbow. "Or maybe you'd meet a nice girl if you got out more."

"Hey, there are girls at the library!"

"Yeah, and you're one of them." Her words got a sharp blush. "Does anyone there see you as a male?" Nanoha's hand moved around Yuuno's shoulders, pulling his long ponytail up to wiggle it.

"I-It looks professional!" The man defended, ruined by his stammering.

Nanoha hummed, playing with the hair a moment. "Your hairband is all worn."

"Yeah, it doesn't hold it very well anymore."

Nanoha thought a moment. "Well then, how about a present?" Moving happily, she shifted so she was sitting on yuuno's outstretched legs. "Lean forward for me.... thank you." Her fingers pinched the band and moved it along the hair until it was free to be pulled up onto her wrist. "Now then..." Now reaching up, she pulled her own dark green hairband. "Here..." She finger combed the male's hair before twisting and pulling to make it go into a high cheerleader style ponytail.

"Nanoha...I say..."

"It looks cute," she declared merrily. The wind caught her own hair and blew it out behind her.

"Okay, fine." he smiled up at her as her hands rested on his shoulders. His palms went to her waist and the two simple looked at each other for a few moments

"Nanoha-san!?" Subaru's voice came through the forest. "Are you here-oh?" She stopped skating as she saw the two. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt."

"Subaru!" Nanoha smiled brightly at her old student. Standing, she helped Yuuno up as well before dusting off her skirt. "I thought you weren't scheduled to be here until this afternoon? I wasn't expecting you."

"I could tell," The girl grinned like a cat.

"Shush." Nanoha took Yuuno's hand to pull him along as they walked. "Have you checked in yet?"

"Not yet."

"Then go check in, I'll meet you after I finish up here." Subaru opened her mouth but was cut off. "Don't even say it." A small laugh came at her and she blushed darkly, glancing upwards lightly at the male. A wink came back at her, which Subaru caught as well.

"No flirting on the training field," Subaru told them, mimicking what Nanoha had told her in the past." With that, she turned and skated off, laughing loudly.

"Subaru!" Nanoha glared, ears red. After a few moments, she turned and looked up at Yuuno again. "Um, yeah... I need to go catch up with her... Tonight?"

"Of course," He answered the unasked question for a date. "Go have fun, I'll see you later."

"Thanks." With that, she hopped away happily, turned to wave once more, and sped off to chase down her friend.

Looking back up at the sky, Yuuno took another deep breath. "I should visit more often..."

Awww...this was soo cute...and a breath of fresh air too. ^_^
