I played a bit of Audiosurf last night and tried Ninja Mono on a few songs and actually got stealth with Ironmode on one song. Also figured out why I lost 30fps while playing games since my computer apparently underclocks the CPU if the battery isn't present.

I just finished Devil May Cry 4. I might add a awesome game indeed.
For now i'm continuing Tales of Vesperia at the end of part 2 (I just got the rod for Estelle's special), and a bit more in touch with my replay on Persona 3. |

Redsteel (Wii)
Dissidia (PSP) Final Fantasy 4 (DS) Good thing I did the moon in FF4 before I played Cecil's Story in Dissidia xD Didn't expect Spoilers in that game I gotta say Dissidia isn't as senseless (storywise) as I first thought, BUT I still have to chuckle to myself when the characters refer to their strong bonds to the other heroes .... huh? They just met haven' they? It's just so out of context sometimes. But wo cares, it's awesome |

Oh, Malaysia? Truly Asia? I've heard that advertisement so many times now but I've been to the country, Kuala Lumpur I think. It's quite a lovely tropical city, with an eclectic mix of new and old architecture (a little bit like Britain in that sense). The food was good (but very spicy!) and enjoyed eating much of the Malaysian cuisine, until I got food poisoning... Must have been one of those outdoor restaurants... which I will never eat at again. The time difference from there to here is 8 hours ahead, 7 hours whilst BST is still in effect. But anyway, I do hope that matter with your friend was resolved in the end. An apology is not difficult to make but it can make a significant difference to one's friendship (or any relationship for that matter). but yes, back to topic on games... Well, yes FF8 (or FFVIII) was long but I liked the storyline enough to continue playing it, and the only FF game where I wasted so much time levelling up the characters to lvl 100 (and I even leveled Edea to 50 until I learnt that she left the party!...) But ah, that was almost a decade ago... I wouldn't (and can't) spend that much time playing games anymore. And I did try fighting omega weapon but couldn't be bothered to try beating him. I didn't have enough 'Hero' and 'Holy War' items to last the entire fight, and then I didn't know of the Invincible Moon bug (or tactic) where Angelo uses that so frequently only if you didn't get the other Doggy mags. And of course, the Limit break bug. I always kept at least one guy at critical health (usually squall). Anyway, I just got Dissidia last weekend, only tried playing it last night for half an hour... before I got bored... It feels so much like some dynasty warriors type beat em up, in spite of having better looking characters. *sigh*... Either I've played far too many games since childhood, or the vast majority games of today seriously lack innovation, or I'm getting too old for all of this... |

Games that I'm currently playing now...
PangYa! (PSP and online (stopped the online one for a few months though)) Valkyria Chronicles (Now waiting for 2...) Dragon Quest 9 Monster Hunter Freedom Unite FF9 (PSP) (Best one for me so far, havent played III, IV and VI though) Umineko ep.5 (Okay, does this count as a game?) For me, dissidia was fun at first when u look at the graphics, controls and music. However, it just gets a bit boring after that though. I mean, training ur character till lvl 100, and then mastering AP, its a bit draggy. PS: Now i guess i'll probably wait for the new pokemon versions to come out in order to kill time... |

I did that, too. I leveled all chars to 100. Had all GFs and leveled them to 100, too (all but Eden I think, but he was pretty high too). Had all cards and trasnformed them to the neat items. I had all Spells x 100. Had all the ability junk. You name it - I had it maxed out! With this uber save I went to take on Omega Weapon. Fight begins, I'm all pumped up ... and then he casts "Death lvl 5" on my lvl 100 chars ..... GAME OVER There are no words for my reaction. It's a trauma still following me to this day! |

Currently playing Growlanser V and also Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne.
I thought collecting lethe charms and life apples were a difficult task but traveling in the First Kalpa is much more difficult as that there are no rests and battles occur almost every 30 seconds. By getting Momunofu to cast Riberama makes battles occur every 10-15 seconds. Its a good way to save grinding time but at the same time, it also makes it more difficult to obtain lots of macca and experience points, then make it back out in one piece. Even so, it is much easier than Shin Megami Tensei I & II which enemy encounter rate seems to be questionable. |
