"simple people?"
Where's that at, mind linking me? Btw, [ACG] Fullmetal Alchemist OVA - The Blind Alchemist Whoever [ACG] are, at least the team who subbed this OVA, are truly amazing. Superb translation and editing, perfect for such a poignant short episode

@Endless Twilight:
I had to watch it subbed, due to the lack of understanding Japanese, is there like a lost in translation effect going on, cause that outro line was just....... empty feeling, the line just before it would've been a better way to send it off. @Mystique: ACG is the Anime Club Generation community (best guess). As for who's subbed OVA#2. I saw Hiyono's release, dunno if there's any others. Just search Hiyono on AnimeSuki's main site and you'll find a link to their page, the click their fansub tab. |

I like it, and there's plenty of humour in Simple People. Winry and the guys' reaction really says a lot about how different guys and girls think.
and the Blind Alchemist is also another wonderful episode. It gives more insight into the fictional world and shows us how other alchemists have also performed human transmutation. This is far more believable than the first series, which seems to imply that only Edward, Alu and Tucker, three alchemists out of so many, have attempted human transmutation.

Episode II OVA: Simple People
This OVA episode was a rather informative story that answers or rather fills in the gaps as to when and why Winry began to wear earrings, and Hawkeye let her hair grow long.
Simplicity is what this OVA story addressed. Spoiler:

No, she didn't. I re-watched ep 12 where she recalled her transmutation, there's no baby, she used raw material just like Ed and Al.
I'm not sure about Judau's case, but it's highly possible that he did use the girl's dead body as material, and that's why that thing has the same features as hers. |

No, they didn't. I was thinking about the flashback scene and it showed the baby's hand reaching out to her. I guess I got it confused with the original anime, cause I remember it showing her placing the baby in the middle of her circle, so that's what I was thinking of.

I think Izumi clearly stated that she used remnants of the baby's body to make her transmutation...
As for Jude's case, we don't know, but I prefer to think that the reason his creation was so good and actually functionnable is because his human transmutation theory was a lot more thought-out than the others' |
