Oh, I really hope that the only way is father. x'D (I like the Uroboro Sibs a lot.. *cheers for them*cough*)
I was a little worried when Roy ripped the stone out.. but YAY they can regenerate even from that. xD! Wonder what will happen to Envy and Glutt too.. I Don't think Ling and his Ninja will kill them *phew* ..and well, HOW to kill them anyway. xD Most likely they want to get information about immortality once again. (but since Greed as an Uroboro was searching for that one as well.. the two won't know either + they aren't the smartest anyways ?! xD ..yeah, wonder how that will develop~) ..I hope father does not get too mad at them later. °° xD If anything happens to glutt and envy.. THEN I'd be pissed. XDD ..about Roy I don't care~ *gets stabbed now* xD; (tho Lust won't kill him YET.. he's a human sacrifiece after all, or isn't he ? °°) and since this is first time posting after much much lurking.. THANKS the translator Yebyosh ! xD ..each month you show me how much mistakes I still make when reading japanese. XDDD *random* |

Here's my tiny theory from looking at the last few panels (and seeing Lust regenerate around the PStone, from my perspective)...
It seems that Philosopher's Stone, when used in the creation of homunculi, provides a 'link' (possible soul/spirit, since each are made from and by the Father) between that homunculi and the PStone. Hence, if for some reason the PStone is ever extracted from a homuncli, its original body wil decay and the homunculi 'linked' to that particular PStone will regenerate around it (no part of it's body needs to touch it). Of course, this may be a wild theory, but it would make the homunculs virtually unkillable, except in the destruction of the PStone itself (where, according to this wacky theory, Greed's PStone was destroyed by Father in that vat of mystery substance, and that portion of the soul returned to him) |

Couple of Questions:
From what I understand, the basis of alchemy is exact trade, whereas to create something, you need to have something similar to that to transmute into the final product. Am I right so far? If Im right, why did Ed and Al lose their bodies when trying to create their mother when they had the core ingredients to create 1 adult body to trade? Is there any significance to the holes in the homunculus' clothes? I remember seeing Bradley injuring Greed in so many ways yet he was able to regenerate, but when Bradley stuck those swords through the holes in his suit, he didn't attempt to regenerate or remove the swords. |
