The swastika in the original form (not nazi backwards shit) means good luck. And is actually the Kanji used for the "Ban" in "Bankai." It's like Ichigo's Bankai is the definition with the hilt.

Yeah...his sword looks stupid now...and dammit now that i think about it...if Ichigo was able to surprise Aizen and slam him to the ground...shit...should've just sliced his head off in that instant instead...

I recall reading on a few posts last week, saying that there would only be two more chapters of this Aizen battle (417 and 418). Does this hold any truth?

It was a simple brief explanation. They dissolve back to spirit particles that create soul society. Basically they lose their identity. Ashes to ashes so to speak.

I knew the swastika had a different meaning (though admittedly I had forgotten) but I'm assuming a majority will think nazi at first glance, even though it is backwards while he is holding the sword. I think the hilt is too big as well. And the bold part of your quote I find to be very interesting, I had no idea.

Don't feel bad. From the time you entered school you've been inundated with the idea that Nazi and everything associated with Nazi Germany = EVIL. It's a shame that we are never taught that the swastika symbol actually has an entirely different connotation in the East. It's a symbol of Good Luck and you can find it at any Buddhist temple.

Wow, I cant wait to see this animated... FINALLY Ichigo looks like a real main character, I love the cold look in his eyes, reminds me of Ulquiorra

I mean, what can Kubo do at this point? Ichigo isnt the kind of character to go overconfident on fights, I dont remember the last time this happened, so if he says he will end it in an instant, Im inclined to agree

That would be quite a sight, and like others said, it would make Ichigo WAY overpowered

The last time Ichigo was this cool was right before he fought Byakuya, and since that was one of the best fights of the entire series, I'm hoping this fight will be pretty awesome too. I want to see Ichigo tear Ai-chan's wings off.
