Hmm, this forum has been pretty dead for a while...

So what do you guys think about the dub so far?
(You can watch the first 2 episodes dubbed on Funi's site btw)

I think it's pretty good.
The only problems I have with it, is that Saki sounds a bit too young (she sounds like she's 14) and Akira doesn't have the same spunk/enthusiasm to his voice, which makes some of his lines fall short. He sounds a bit too laid-back at times.

But Juiz still sounds pretty awesome and Kondo (No. 4) is spot-on for me.
Can't wait until the DVD/Blu-ray comes out.

How was the translation and all?

And does anyone know what extras will we get with the box set?

Read a review and it seems Funimation could only license the opening for one episode and had to use something else in place of it. It's an English speaking band that broke up...I don't understand this kind of stuff sometimes.

The original band was Oasis which is a pretty well known British band and it sounds like they wanted a high price for each time the song was played so Funi only licensed the song for the first episode (it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the group breaking up). Which makes sense and Production IG did make another OP just in case this happened, although I'll admit I love the Oasis song much better than the replacement.

It's amazing how you have to pay for each episode like that (it's like getting paid for someone to advertise for you). I guess that's the reason why so many great OPs and EDs never make it out of Japan or a company only uses the first OP or ED song.

Oasis is such a great band and the song fits the series nicely.

I think I'll get this series when I see it at a friendly price.

I hate double posting but I want to get everyone's attention to let them know that it's on sale now.
