Here is a PMP that claims to be able to do 'DivX 3.11, 4.0, 5.x', does that mean it can also do xvid? xvid support is very important for me, and I know modern DVD players that advertise DivX support (this DivX, not the Circuit City / Disney DiVX that died years ago) also happen to work with xvid.

Most modern standalone players that support DivX also support XVid. Some may have problems with QPel and/or GMC.
