Actually, they only refer to him as the "Irish Man Of Light". They don't ever say his name in the anime, and oddly enough, he's the first servant you learn the identity of in the novel. I guess there's a downside to being too famous.

I remember in the English dubbed Saber calls him the "Hound of Culann" which is a clear reference to him.

Whether his true name is revealed early or late in the series in irrelevant.
Whether his true identity is well-known or obscure is equally irrelevant.
It is thus but a matter of courtesy and mutual respect not to disclose such information that is revealed only in the medium at hand (or to put it in spoiler tags), and to keep such issues to the Q&A section.

"Hound of Culann" is just English for "Cu Culann". If you've heard of him at all, then you'd be able to recognise him from that statement (and, if you haven't, then surely it doesn't matter anyway...).

Any information given in the anime is assumed to be known by anyone visiting the forum. His identity is given in the anime (albeit in a somewhat jumbled form), ergo there is no problem with mentioning his name.
