And I just finished Arc's true end in Tsukihime. One of the best things about playing Tsukihime is seeing just how much Nasu learned when he made F/SN. I can see clear improvements in many things when I compare the two. Not to say Tsukihime is bad, but F/SN is just better.

Yeah, it was mentioned in UBW. I don't think Kotomine said it outright, but his wording implied enough for Rin to catch on to what he was saying, and she pretty much realized it then... not helped by the fact that when she said he'd done it, he pretty much confirmed it.

Pretty sure it was said in Fate too. That he killed her father with the same Azoth Dagger that he gave her, and then Shirou killed him with it. He was bemused by the irony.

Well I finished Arcueid's route on Tsukihime, and even went ahead to get the Good End. Surprised out how much they added into the manga and how much they cut out for the anime.

I honestly found a lot of things scary in this game aswell. That music can be quite chilling and some of sprites are scary.

Did Kotomine kill Kiritsugu too? I am remembering him hinting at killing him toward Shirou, but am not sure from where.

The music is definitely creepy, but there are only a few tracks in the entire game. I am really happy they got a bigger BGM budget for F/SN.

Kiritsugu killed Kotomine. the contamination from the Holy Grail is what eventually killed Kiritsugu.

Yes. I'd have to check the scene, but I believe Kotomine implied that after their fight at the end of the 4th War, he used one of the curses in the Grail against Kiritsugu and that is what eventually killed him.

I don't think Kotomine used it, merely that it happened. He seemed overjoyed at the prospect of being able to kill Shirou, since he embodied everything he hated about Kiritsugu.

Really? I was under the impression the contamination from the Grail is what eventually killed Kiritsugu, not that Kotomine actively cursed Kiritsugu.

As I said, I'd have to check the scene and I don't have access to the game until tomorrow night. But I seem to recall Kotomine being way too 'gloaty' for him to have not been somehow involved, and Shirou definitely thought something along the lines of 'this man killed my father'.

I'm not sure where to post this so i'll just say it here. Has anyone read Angel Notes? I just read it now and ti's really quite good. I especially liked the three questions (which reminded me a lot of Mujun Rasen). It would make a great OVA.

I finished Ciel and Akiha's route on Tsukihime by the way. I didn't think much of Ciel's route until:

Shiki gets possessed by Roa. The sex scene was a bit random, though. And Arcueid was a LOT scarier this time round.

Lol. Now I finally understand all the Sacchin jokes. She just gets completely trolled doesn't she? And honestly her whole story just seems entirely pointless now since it didn't seem to have any real effect on Akiha's route anyway.

And I kept on dying with my final confrontation with SHIKI. I mean geez, you would've thought NOT listening to a psycho killer when he offers you a chance to save someone would be a good idea. And after all that we don't even get a good ending. Both available endings were complete downers. Either she lives and you spend the rest of your rapidly shortening life letting her feed on you or you kill yourself to restore her sanity. Charming.

You mean when Akiha finds Shiki's knife and hears his heart beat? Yeah but honestly, isn't there supposed to be, like, a dead body to prove his death? Maybe I'm just horribly cynical but I couldn't help but think she went a bit delusional there.

Anyway, I finished Hisui's route.

That is one fucked up ending. You know, i've always been a little bit peeved that after all the red herrings, that the killer could be someone like Arcueid or even Shiki himself, it actually turns out to be some random guy from the past that we can't possibly be sympathetic too. True Ending was utterly amazing. Good thing there's a Good Ending aswell, convenient amnesia and all.
