If that doesn't work, restart the game. And press Z. If you're using a gamepad make sure it's configured correctly. |

Z = weak attack
X = medium attack C = strong attack Random combis of arrows + Z, X, or C = special move. Random combis of arrows + ZX = SP move. XC = grab Z+X+C = Activate Meta I believe Shift works as Taunt, and A to switch.

As for the controller, I use a PS2 to USB adapter that can support up to two controllers. Same one I had a problem with when I was trying to play with a friend so let me warn you on a few things if you manage to find the same ones I do: 1) Make sure the lights are on. If not, readjust the the controller until they are lit. 2) Make sure you're using the right controller. Ougon recognized my controller as Player 2 even though it's in the first slot. Or if that's too much of a headache, get a Logitech. |

http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Controlle.../dp/B001AATQ0Y Something like that, with an official PS2 Controller. But sometimes it registers me as the wrong port, and it would sometimes make me walk downright. Switching from one port to the other after my game has already started would fix the problem. So I switched to a single one instead. http://www.amazon.com/PS2-Controller...5815437&sr=1-6 Something like that. Still with PS2 Controller. Works fine as I can tell. (Note, you can probably find them on other places [Ebay?] for cheaper) But I opted for Wireless, so now I'm using PS3 with a bluetooth adapter (since I don't have native bluetooth on the comp I'm using Ougon Musou with). And the Program (And drivers) of Motioninjoy. I just think the Playstation controllers feel the best in the hand, and are reliable. So I've always used them. Spoiler for Button/Command List:

It doesn't look like anyone has mentioned who exactly the "Umineko-san 1" and "Umineko-san 2" announcer voices are. 1 is pretty obvious if you listen, but 2 might be a little more obscure:
Spoiler for Umineko-san 1 and 2:
I wonder why they're called that. They're pretty prominent characters. |
