I really wouldn't call it Index any revolutionary or ground breaking. I'd rather put it in the "nice to watch, if you have nothing else to do" corner. The arcs up to ep. 13 were only so-so, and only now with ep. 14, a good arc is actually starting.
Same goes for Clannad, I clearly wouldn't call it revolutionary or groundbreaking either - also "nice to watch" category, no more.

IS, on the other hand, while not being "revolutionary or ground breaking" as well, is and has been already much more fun right from the beginning and much more interesting than either of the two

nothing bad in itself. Tenchi Muyo (Ryo-Ohki) is one of my all-time favourite anime.

This show is good so far, but theres nothing really knew about it and idk why but the suits they wear in battle kind of bothers me O.O Oh well I'll still keep watching it...
