It's a very creative idea on the part of the people behind the DVDs (Kyoto Animation, I guess). Good execution of that idea too.

I don't find it that creepy, but at the same time, I couldn't fault any non-anime fans for being seriously weirded out by seeing that on a friend or family member's bedroom walls, lol.

So the order is (BD/DVD volumes):
7 -> 9 -> 5 -> 3 -> 1 -> 2 -> 6 -> 4 -> 8
