you guys are fast man. I'm just getting started on the episode. I watched Anohana first before this one.

Dahak is really fast when it comes to that kind of scene.

I can't watch anime without subs. To be frank, I see it as pointless, since I understand very little spoken Japanese. That said, I'm surprised they finished 1 and started 2 in one episode. I thought the ending of 1 would've deserved an entire episode.

They didn't really start 2, they just got to the end of the epilogue. I just said started 2 because it's the same scene.

Was Kinji epic and did he curse himself? Damn, now I feel like watching it with my limited Japanese...

I don't really understand it at all but it follows the novels close enough so i pretty much know what the conversations are about. Well I do understand some words to help me have some context at least.

Kinji was definitely epic at least. I couldn't tell about the other.

Ahh...Well, I'm lying about not being able to understand Japanese. Just that...I have to play several scenes over and over again, and I don't want to go through that.

I'm glad he's still epic, though.

finally finished on episode 5.

Its epic despite the sudden drop of animation.......... and it's the climax part. I really don't understand the way JC staff do things.

In this episode they show that the classmate of Kinji are already preparing and monitoring the situation. Its kinda better that they do that. The fight with Riko is...... bad.. animation but it's good. though really I can't say much because its not sub yet.

Though I can understand japanese thanks from experience but I can't just read moon runes. I tried to study it but... I just tend to forget everything about it. I can't seem to understand and remember it. fukou da.... XD

So...You fully understand people when they're talking? I can understand the meaning of the sentence. No particulars.

I applaud you.

Well anyways, I just might give in to temptation this time...I hope they didn't ruin Kinji's awesome moment Oo

oh that scene. that scene was good but the manga version was godly but still its' overkill good. No problem on that scene hikari.

I can't understand fully but mostly. My sister's husband is chinese. I can understand a bit of chinese too and korean but chinese... how to say it. It's harder to understand than japanese or korean. I tried learning the moon runes or kanji... but it's just like in manga. When I'm looking at it.. I kinda felt dizzy or my eyes go spiral >,>

I don't understand a thing........

EDIT:

About that scene tried looking at image thread.

Well, whatever. Watched it.
Spoiler for Razzo:

And, I thought it was pretty horrible. Pretty goddamn horrible. Such a rushed episode. God...

It wasn't doing too bad too...Ah well.

Just that...I probably would've enjoyed it more if the light novel words were scrolling down the screen with pretty pictures and fitting music.

Maybe it's because the light novel is so much more awesome than this...but that really didn't cut it.
I doubt that I'm the only one who feels this way.

I've pretty much accepted that no novel adaptation can be anywhere good as its source so I have naturally lowered expectations. So far this has been a pretty good one for JC Staff.

Spoiler for Stuff:

I mean, injecting comedy where there there was suspense before. It's like somebody suddenly started pouring chocolate all over your steak.

Not the first time they've done this, but I definitely thought it was one of the worst.

On the +side, Aria was pretty cute. That and Shirayuki were the only highlights of this episode.

Kinji turning his HM on was awesome, especially the scene with his butterfly knife. Riko's exit was amazing. Did she imply that his brother was alive and with E.U.? Great teamwork to land the plane. The best part was the ending though with Shirayuki.

And thus the first volume's adaptation draws to a close.

In this episode I noticed how different it is to watch Kinji in Hysteria Mode when you don't know what he's thinking, because in the LN it's shown that even when using HSS he's still his normal self in his mind.

Anyway, not a whole lot say about this episode. There isn't much worth mentioning.

Though we finally get to see Shirayuki's first yandere outbreak.
