Kobato didn't show up in the game much either until the final route. There's not much difference between how much she appears in the game vs. the anime. In fact you could say that she's had just as much time in the anime as she did in the game, despite the anime being much shorter, thus you could say they technically increased her screen time overall.
That's why she's not popular. Basically, it's REQUIRED that you play through Takashi, Shuusuke, and Hayato's routes before you do the final route with Kobato and she gets any real development, and by that time, the characters that you like are already kind of set in stone. Spoiler for Guess this counts as game spoilers, minor though imo:
IMO, anyway. But I imagine with her low popularity that it's an opinion shared by many though. Plus she doesn't really have much going for her other than being cute(not that it's a bad thing!) Personally, I'm a Naru man! |

So Kobato is like an after story or true story part where it requires other routes to be unlocked before it's been played? Thanks for the info.
Well it's understandable if that's the way it is. If she's been active even in the normal route of the story. She might be popular but you need to finished the other 3 first before her story appears and her lack of appearance hits the impression of her thus in low popularity. I hate takashi.... and it might be the hardest play to play his route because you lack interest in it.

While I don't approve of what Takeshi does in his fantasies, he's kind of pushed around a lot, so I sorta feel sorry for him in that regard. First by the guy who makes a big deal out of him accidentally peeping at Asuka, then his female classmate who acts like such a snobby complaining bitch towards him, and there may even be more than that. That's probably why he fantasizes that he's a knight though, since only in his fantasies does he feel any confidence to stand up to anything and everyone else can be placed lower than himself.

Takashi was more sympathetic in the game where they make the bullying more pronounced plus you get to hear his inner thoughts about things. He does not even realize that he's being bullied and wishes the best for everyone that bullies him. It's kind of sad.
But yeah, Takashi's story is probably the most 'psyche dependent' of the bunch so not hearing his inner thoughts hurts him more than any of the others.(Although Karura has the most interesting inner thoughts by a mile >_> Guy is INSANE) Last edited by Hopeful Death; 2011-05-28 at 23:19. |

How many episode will this be? 12/13? It's nearing the end but still Takashi is my least like. And even in the latest episode. I like more the shut in stubborn king more than him. Though they both look alike. Always running away.
EDIT: Episode 9! Banzai no TAKASHI! SHUU own the episode and the 2/3 was for falcon. Spoiler for 09:
I really like no, it's really my favorite anime for the season it's full of unpredictable part for me.

"I don't mean to sound rash, but I think I understand Haneda-kun than most people."
Finally, more Asuka time! And with that line, she's probably the closest thing to an osananajimi... unless Kobato is not blood related after all.
