i just don't get 2 things. What did Anderson become, he's not a vampire right? Also why is Walter young and serving the Major, i guess that will be explained later. I doubt Alucard is dead yet. That was so badass the way he entered and released all of his restraints. Since Sera is a true vampire now shouldn't she be able to reattach her arm?

Was laughing like crazy when Alucard had the whole "you don't want to because a monster, your human" speech ... yeah a human who can turn in paper, has superhuman strength, can take an army of guys with guns with only knives witch he produces from his ass, ages slowly if at all... that was the word for Anderson... human ^^ ... not saying i didn't like Anderson, but human he was not

and was disjointed with Alucards final form... rotting zombies for the most part... only guys woth anything were the ones he killed in last few episodes (card guy and gun girl) ... you would think he has something more up his sleve after all these centuries... then again it's not over yet

Vampires look younger. I don't remember if the OVA mentioned it (since it cuts a bunch of things... including Integra's freaking flashbacks), but in the manga, the Millennium mooks mentioned how they are younger now (and why those old men wanted vampirism).

Look at Alucard himself, he is clearly able to alter his physical age at will.

Ghouls are ghouls. Very different to vampires. Only certain interpretations of vampirisim prevents them from changing their physical appearance beyond the form they were when they Turned.

The author also joked that Seras got bigger breasts because of vampirisim.

Nah, they were likely some of the original hunters of Dracula in Stoker's novel. Abraham Van Helsing, Harker, Arthur and Quincey. Not sure which three out of four though.

I laugh whenever I see the translation from OVA2, "The girl's heavenly host has disappeared." It should be, "the mark of the heavenly host has vanished."

The ending theme for Vol9 is "Scars" by Maon Kurosaki. It's track 6 on her first album which will be coming out on Nov 30 2011: http://www.geneonuniversal.jp/rondor...x00090000.html

There'll also be a Hellsing PV included in the DVD which comes with the LE of the album. No LE art for Hellsing Vol9 yet unfortunately. No details on what's coming with the LE either, except Amazon Japan lists 2 discs, so I expect a continuation of The Dawn to come with the LE.
