I'm torn, I truly am. On one hand, I want to wait until the christmas sales or whenever the game goes on a deal to get it.
On the other hand, Amazon is offering that sweet cloth map. A CLOTH MAP! The collector in my heart wants it so, even if I have loads of games on the backburner to clear |

You never know if hard drive manufacturers have been releasing green house gases non-stop, causing the polar ice to melt thus increasing the sea level and causing various weather irregularities which eventually lead to a very powerful flood timing in Thailand.......

Well picked it up this afternoon, was debating if I should have gotten it on console (instant gratification) or stick with steam (and be stuck waiting till 1am, but the future possibility of mods). I went with the PC version... a few extra hours waiting is a small price to pay, besides I'll be up until 3am anyway.

Ooh please, lets get back to discussing the actual game instead of using climate change to blame everything and being mad because someone mentioned the floods.
Also PC over the Xbox version any day. |

Abandoned my quest to go and get a copy of Skyrim during the midnight sale ; If it had taken too long I would have had to wait over 3 hours of a bus .. And it's damn cold out there. I bought it from Gamesplanet for £29.99 (34€) and it's not location restricted. Sure, it's digital, but I already received my code and just finished downloading Skyrim. Now just the wait ...

Did a bit of snooping and people are saying that the premium map (Not the glossy paper one) is basically just textured paper made to feel slighty like burlap. Anyone who has the game can verify? Because if that's the case I'll just forget about the preorder.

Yes, that is the case as I explained above. Well, tried to anyway, wasn't sure how to translate it. Anyway that's pretty much what people have been saying on finnish forums I frequent at. It definitely isn't cloth.. which is sad. I kinda wanted cloth map too :P

I had to cancel my preorder and order it at another store because the old one ran into distribution problems.
Sadly it now costs me a little more but at least the game will arrive here tomorrow.

You know what sucks? They say it's 0.01 worldwide release. Well, that's a damn lie. Europe release goes with the UK clock, meaning us in the Finland or well anywhere else than UK for that matter have to wait additional hours. That means I get to play this game at 02.01, not at the midnight ... <.<
