Diva achieves flawless victory....
Euba and Zalam loss quite a number of MS on their sides, mainly the Zalam's. Zalam loss all their characters with face UE losses some Gafrans, Zedas losses some of its limbs, and Decil is pissed off

Great combat episode, thanks to Millias X Woolf "Take care, Lieutenant", Spallow's mid-space parts change (complete with a flyer), and Boyage's kamikaze attack. Yurin must have missed Flit that much from the next episode preview. Best scene would be when the Zedas blocked the nail gun rounds, ninja-style.
Grodek has a good strategy on this battle, leveraging Diva's defensive capabilities (anti-beam dispersal shells), Zalam/Euba and the Genoace role of drawing enemy fire while AGE-1 and G-EXES providing the main offensive arm. It forced Decil to launch the Zedas. Fortunately the counter for that, the GN Shiguru blade, is ready for the Spallow's use. But how can Flit "newtype" sense Decil on the Zedas, which is almost surely a UCV?

He sensed Desil when fighting Zedas. One of those "This kind of fighting style, it's XXX" moment.
Overall, one of the best episode so far. Don Voyage's sacrifice was sad, even though in end it dealt no damage to UE mothership, it did raise the army's morale. I'm surprised that his two lackeys were killed off as well. The highlight is definitely the Spallow. I'm glad that it's not last minute appearance before the episode ends. Spallow had a great parts swapping scenes and totally kicked Zedas' ass. The little knife is sharp, after all it is imbued with GN Particles One little nitpick I have was when Spallow unleashed its arm thruster for slice and dice attacks. I thought Spallow had chopped Zedas to bits and it exploded. But the next scene we see Zedas slowly flying away with no apparently damage to its main body except a sliced off leg. I was like, LOL WUT? They could have done with the damaged body better. Also, didn't the Spallow totally make the Titus obsolete? Titus was able to counter Baqto with its heavy armor and superior strength, but utterly useless against a high mobility Zedas. Spallow was built in response, with greater mobility than Zedas and sharp blade that can even cut through Zedas' sword. By the same logic, shouldn't Spallow be able to fight Baqto well by dodging enemy attacks with superior mobility and then strikes with its blade? For now, Titus seems to specified for its own good. Anyway, next episode should be good. Return of Yurin!!

I have got no problem with the story but the action scenes are really eating me up .And its really frustrating, even i didn't have this much problems with the earlier UC series. I'm not asking the scenes to be super realistic but rather for them to be believable. The strategy that Grodek used was at times pretty hard to believe that it would work.
For example at the start while the anti-beam missles would stop the UE from using beam weaponery, it's that once past the effect of the missles that the UE MS somehow stopped using their tail-cannons. Its not like they're outside the anti-beam missles effect. While i'm willing to look past this ,my biggest problem would be with how Zalam and Euba were intergrated into the strategy. Its pretty obvious that they would be the meat shields but the part where they're supposed to be the decoys and allow Woolf and Flit to whack the UE is pretty hard to digest. Given the UE's firepower ,Euba and Zalam forces should have been wiped out fast. But then again i suppose this has got to do with the UE seemingly being unable to commit 100% in fighting. I suppose when it is revealed the UE have a really good reason for not committing 100% , then i would eat all of these rants back. In the earlier few episodes i have taken a liking to this series due to its UE's mystery. And now i'm trying really hard to regain that liking i once had with this series. I guess 00 really set a high standard in terms of battleship battles. I must admit Spallow was pretty cool, at first i was pretty sad that Spallow defeated Zedas. But the end scene justified Spallow's victory : Desil is just playful and in the end it bite him back. 6/10
