Glad to see than everyone seem to enjoi their gift.
To answer the most asked question, I did start thoses signatures in september. How did I chooses what kind of signature to offer, many have a list of what they like in their profile, others also use often the same personnage on their avatars and signatures. That do not do for everyone but it help.

Just for the record though, I'm not actually that big on "waifus" (or pink) if thats what you were thinking (but yeah I do like Angel Beats). Still it's pretty good. I really like it.

Usualy it mostly a lots of layers , not all at 100% opacity, with brush than I picked on deviantArt over a solid white background. After that I rework the saturation, contrast, brightness ans levels for the whole background and often in specific area. But now I am often reusing part of the picture used for the render to make the background, witht the help of brushs or not. I could be more specific if you whould have some more specific signatures's background in mind.
