I am using TMPGE to convert my MKV file to Mpeg. But the resulotion if very poor. It was originally in wide screen but after converting it was in standard sreen mode. Where can i change mode and get a better resolution?

Read the help file... or check on doom9. It is right there under the "Settings" button.
