I actually recreated my Shepard's face in ME2 because I didn't really liked my ME1 face.
And as I plan changing it slightly again for ME3 I think I won't have problems with that at least.

On the other hand, it wouldn't be the first time they have problems with imported save games. With the whole Conrad Verner thing as the most obvious thing.

Not really. My Sheps been using facial configurations that werent even available in ME2, the only reason he got away with it was because of the import function, which is wonky right now.

Oh well, rollin with a femshep for now till they fix this bug.

Yes, though what is a really 'necissary' flag has yet to be determined, most major decisions can be editted. Importing a save works too, even if the whole ordeal is a bit of a hastle.

I don't count the missing faces bug though, since that's a bug on Bioware's part.

Oh boy at this point it seems like I am going to get the game probably in 10days or so. Well this is probably good for me since I gotta lot of works that I have to catch up to. I am just going to hope that my will is strong enough resist all the spoilers.

That being said, I have only two things to say.

One, this looks like pure laziness BW. It's the finale of the series that is already strapped with DLC and you do this?

Two, how do people find this? I mean, these finds almost seem coincidental. No seriously, I am impressed.

So I was doing some research on how to, in theory, keep everyone alive. Apparently you can't, and it's based on the two biggest faction decisions in the game.

In other words, galactic preparedness is still paramount and you really should do every quest as much as possible and probably as early as possible.

I've been pretty accepting over all the stuff fans have complained about. I'll still gladly get my copy tomorrow, and I know I'm gonna love it. But what I've just seen, is an atrocity. And this is big coming from me, I haven't said one ill thing about ME3. I'm not gonna condemn Bioware to the depths of hell and go on a giant flame blitzkrieg, but I am sorely disappointed at this. I really hope that when I start to play, I just forget about it or end up not giving a shit.

I don't get it. What's this about Companions dying?

On my second playthrough now. Did first as an Infiltrator. Was a bit boring at how easy it was (Cloak and like a 2 s CD as my rifle had almost no weight is just so stupidly OPed lol). Doing Vanguard this time.

Got to level 14 in multiplayer and then got bored. There really needs to be different game modes if that is ever going to hold my interest.

Edit: Also, lol at how all the NPCs seem to be gay based off the background chatter as you roam through the Citadel. :/

*waves* Greetings folks, planning to pick up ME3 tomorrow. Just a quick question though, I have a region 1 ME2 and I'm hoping to transfer over my storyline decisions / stuff to ME3. Will I have to get a region 1 ME3 for the data transfer or can I settle with a region 3 copy off ME3? (all my game stores are stocked with region 3 copies)

I thought Bioware was probably going to make Tali like female Draeni in WoW (blue woman perhaps minus the horns) and I was not too far off from the spoiler pic I have. At the same time I am kind of put off by her face, because it seems almost too human if that makes sense. Do not get me started on EDI. What were they thinking giving a robot a camel toe.

Nixl Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2009	Thanks for the response, Spoiler for Regarding EDI and DLC Companion: Looking at EDI makes me even angrier about Bioware's stance on Javik (the Prothean) DLC. Really? A sexbot is suppose to be more relevant to the story than a Prothean? Are they saying non-long time fans of Mass Effect would appreciate a Sexbot more than a Alien Commando that mocks everyone? I also heard one of those rumors that one ending or more is only accessible via buying DLC (possibly the Prothean one). Remains to be seen, but I hope this is a joke. Another being the ending is all told by an Old Man recounting the adventures of Commander Shepard to his grandchild lol. When this all said and done I have a lot of serious questions about the Trilogy now. I mean, -Relays are suppose to be able to survive even supernovas, yet how did SHepard destroy one with an asteroid? -How can Sovereign's lecture that each Reaper is a nation/truly sentient when all Reapers are 100% controlled by a master AI be true? Did Bioware just forget Sovereign? -Why can't the Reapers shutdown the Relays to their advantage? -If the Master AI for ALL Reapers is on the Citadel, why did it only now wake up? edited contents inside tag for additional questions/conjecture.

Also, yes, you are forced to choose between Mordin or Wrex. Screw Mordin, Wrex is a true bro. You deserve to be spoiled! :p: I mean, I suppose it's possible the two Companions you bring with you on the final mission die, though I didn't see them at all during that last heroic charge, and there's no mention of them whatsoever from that point on, so I was left pretty much in the dark, but none of my Companions died in my game. Tali certainly didn't die, and it's not like I did anything to try to keep her alive, as there wasn't any moment where she seemed like she or any of your Companions are in danger of dying. I was pleasantly surprised at how many ex-Companions you can't recruit did die though. I didn't think Bioware had it in them after how neat and tidy they were in ME 2. I really enjoyed that aspect, as it really drove home that this was the end. Also, can we start comparing Shepard to Madoka? So, color me puzzled. On my second playthrough now. Went back home to Afghanistan, but left again because of the Taliban. Now a UK British citizen. Interesting choice. Picking an actual refugee as Tali's face. Born away from home, for that matter. Too bad they never actually HIRED her to have her face animated. It seems like they did put some thought into who to choose as the model. But it seems thought is all they got; they weren't actually willing to pay full price for getting her in the studio. See, the thing is, Bioware did NOT pick Hammasa's face at random; they picked someone who had actually knew hardship, knew what it meant to be forced out of one's homeland. In short, maybe they weren't kidding when they said they put in a lot of thought into what Tali's face should look like. In fact, I would believe they might even have choose Hammasa a long time ago. After all, they already hired a male model for Shepard's male default face. But I think the crunch, is that it cost too much to hire Miss Britain 2005 for just ONE scene in the game. They couldn't justify to EA the costs of hiring her and scanning her face for one scene. And as such, they went for the cheapest option. __________________
