Doesn't that only apply after generations of inbreeding?

I read somewhere that the chances of genetic disorder are about the same as non-blood related

Not necessarily, even then the chances are only increased by a trivial ammount.

Dang, I missed important conversation, stupid Internet.

Incest has the chances of something wrong by 8-16%, compare to 4% of first cousin and 2% random stranger. And this is from the lab, historically, there's a LOT of inbreeding and hundreds of people born from it rather normally.

Certain skill yes, especially one that require muscle memory.

For example: driving a car.

Of course as a medic, I saw Incest as taboo, merely that even 1% chance I should take as a risk than mere number. Well, not much a preach myself, but maybe this is the reason why it's forbidden. Even Adam & Eve is against Twincest.

There's also westermarck effect to be considered.
