Someone would still have to die to signal the end of one generation.. Whether he knows how to find a living in peacetime isn't so important..

There isn't really a need to kill Zeheart though. Kill off the Vagan leader and that leaves room for changing things. If there was anything that spy mission proved its that Zeheart can do things other than fight. The leadership he's been asked to display in leading battles can be transferred to helping lead his people. There's no doubt some deaths are bound to happen along the way, but really who else is going to lead the Vagan people into peace? Zeheart's all we've got .

Besides you don't really need a death to signal the end of something. Just a change of power. Killing leaders of the old generation is one way, but not necessarily the only way for it to go.
