Well, yes. Modern anime tend to depict what I said, the VA is the same, it could be the tone, pitch, accent, speed, etc that changed.

The rage perhaps justified since it manipulates the hormonal system, the taking however is rather dubious, unless it has advanced electronics or -god forbid- is somewhat alive (a creature-like machine).

There's a possible similar side effect. Overload of hormonal imbalance as well as excessive increase sensory feed back in relation to primary directive.

In short, the machine is continuously bombarding the pilot with combat data while the pilot is mentally unstable. Data part is from gundam W while the hormonal part is inspired from real life science.

Me neither - I mean, if I want my OC to be a god of the fandom I'm writing on, why don't I just go and create my own original story instead? Why bother wasting my time doing a fanfic just to tell the canon characters how weak they are?

Usually people who write fanfics just want to pay tributes to the original series they like - for me, sometimes I do parody and mock these original work, but there's no need to go overboard, ne? Still gotta show some respect for the original creator.

1. He's not capable of piloting the IS, though he does have extensive knowledge of how the mecha works, specifically how the IS affects the human body (that's why he's also the school doc - minus the *cough* some troubles)

2. He is probably on par with Chifuyu in terms of swordsmanship (however, it's hard to compare the two because they both use different styles - Tsubasa's a dual blade fighter while Chifuyu is single); he's definitely not as smart as Tabane, but somewhere near her level (again, a bit difficult to compare the two because they are not under the same faculty).

3. His presence often makes the harem mistaken that Ichika is more interested in mature women ('cause my OC is cross-dressing - and no, he's not a trap...he has to do it under Chifuyu's order), which means that he can be seen as part of Ichika's harem. *evil grin* Besides, he's shipped with Maya (with a good reason).

Kanzashi's design was just that, Image Interface control allow Missile massacre... with each missile controlled as if they're BITs (Justifying the erratic but controlled movement like Macross Beer-can missile). No wonder it's hard to accomplish...

Novel description

Right now, the [Uchigane Nishiki] has hi-performance guided missiles amongst its armaments, 6 missile pods altogether, 8 mini missiles in a defensive type weapon system. It's a weapon that can fire 48 of them at one go, but as the important '48 independent operational' [Multi Lockon System] wasn't completed, the supposedly high accuracy and high firepower type didn't appear.

From the image we got
5-tube main launcher x4 + 3-tube secondary launcher x2 = 26 missiles, per salvo. Pod number is correct, tube number is wrong (though it could be 2 salvo per launch, which mean 52 missile)

Note that the difference in the artwork may because by the author sending the spec a little too late to the illustrator (as noted by the afterword), though that's just my assumption.

I still can't see launcher's 5 and 6 but those missiles can reach a 48 mark.

two 5-tube main launchers and matching innerfold 3-tube launchers reaching 16 missiles.

Each missile splite open and releases 3 smaller missiles which result in multiplying the 16 missiles into a count of 48 clean.

Though this is mostly just my conjecture.

A question of opinion on Chifuyu's personality. Would she look down on a person who asks for help? Even though that person proudly proclaimed that he would fight and win no matter the circumstance?

At lower altitude it's godforsaken impossible. Even four or five is difficult.

At higher altitude it'll simply accelerate until those missiles ran out of fuel.
