sad new,how long at this rate will it take for kiyosumi to be able to fight shiratodai in final, two years?
so far,all we've seen about the anime for the individual tournament proved to be canon,so can we presume saki -and nodoka- will be able to participate in the individual tournament so she can fight, directly this time, against her elder sister? if teru lose to kiyosumi,i'd like to see her win at less the indiviual one;the title of champion suit her better than anyone else, after all. |

I feel bad for her. Didn't really know she had a blog before, but she's really profusely apologetic in that post. The way Ritz-sensei keeps missing her deadlines, you know she probably feels terrible about herself for it. The way I see it, living constantly under pressure/anxiety from deadlines like that, which we know she has trouble keeping up with, can't be making her happy.
But even so, the fact that Ritz keeps up with Saki, and has been serialized for 6 years, and will probably continue and stick with Saki for many years further (with an estimate of ~3 years to even just finish up this Nationals tournament), is a sign to me of the determination and passion she has for this story. So when I think about how much Ritz-sensei has struggled in creating Saki, that just makes this series all the more amazing to me. Moreso than the delay, when I saw Ritz-sensei's blogpost, I could not even feel any personal disappointment/frustration this time at all. |

Or Achiga, for that matter
Anyway... HELL YEAH! You thought the pain was over, girls? This is just the beginning. So, Shiraitodai not only has Gilgamesh, but also an Archer that actually works like an archer. Guess I'll need to check the apocrypha cast for a proper nickname for Sumire now. And I'm guessing the whole thing with Nodoka got solved quickly, which is very good, because I thought it would get extended on the manga and take the whole chapter, I'm paranoid like that. Two more things, those web episodes are going to ROCK, and the shipping for Teru and Sumire is about to skyrocket. Needless to say, really looking forward to see the whole thing. |

Spoiler for more raw scans of Shiraitodai teami:
Teru is saying that the vanguard match opponents were pretty good, so she didn't get a good opportunity to use "that" but she says she will definitely use "that" in her next match I'm guessing "that" is her Nine Lanterns finishing move

I guess this means we won't be getting such awesome teamwork for the finals, probably because of Yuuki sucking too hard outside of the east round, or just lack of comunication overall. @night_sentinel It's because Sumire has this cold, elegant air to her, and I guess deadly too judging from the images. She's basically a beautiful mahjong sniper. |

The last image of Yuuki in the epilogue alone would be enough foreshadowing of that, coupled with what we know now of Teru's normal playstyle. If NO ONE is able to stop her score totals snowballing, one of her hands will turn into a Nine Lanterns eventually.

I'm actually a bit apprehensive about the finals now since I don't think there's any way for Yuuki to recover from a direct-hit yakuman against Teru without pulling some bizarre twist in the match. R.I.P. Kiyosumi.
