I'm interested in what he does when this whole thing ends. Will he stay in the school/transfer out.

I'm excited to what seems to be more screentime with Scarlet Rain. I watched episode 1-20 in the past week, so now I'm with the waiting weekly crowd now.

From the fight, I actually think Gale Thruster is better than Haru's regular just floaty flying ability lol.

If it's just linear movement with minimal adjustments, I think the Gale Thrusters might be faster than his wings.
The downside is that he can't use his devastating dive attack (the one used against Niko), since his lower body can't perform that action with the thrusters.
His only options are his IS sword, punch and headbutt, which equals a kamikaze attack

But a SP gauge gives him more flight time than a full gauge of Gale Thrusters, not to mention he can't move backwards and sidewards (effectively) for evading.

Haru caught Noumi off guard with the thrusters and IS, but it won't happen again.

I hope he ends up keeping the gale thrusters.

Combining it with the Wings would be great. Maneuverability + Sudden Instant Acceleration. Or at least give the thrusters to Cyan Pile. He really needs an upgrade.

Unlikely, since he promised Sky Raker he'd return her wings. Besides, His back must be open for his wings to come out, if he equips Gale Thruster, he can't use his wings and vice versa.

I still prefer that he somehow tames Chrome Disaster armor and combines it with his wing. That would give him an insane upgrade.

But would also be, basically, betraying Niko, who he honestly sees as a friend and possible ally.

Though "The Beauty and The Beast" could happen, with Haru and KYH.

How would that betray Niko? If he is able to overcome what destroyed her friend, then she should support it. Besides, if he does overcome it, I'm sure it won't look like the terrifying form that was eating up other players.

I think simply equipping The Disaster would betray her trust.
After all she theorized that a king lied and kept The Disaster, and from her point of view Haru did the same; defeating 5th Chrome Disaster and keeping the armour.

If your friend was the 5th Chrome Disaster and you later see someone, who hunted down the 5th with you and lied about the armour, equipping it and go on a rampage, you would feel betrayed.

Though only Haru and Noumi witnessed that red aura/madness, neither of them know what it exactly was.

I will add one more thing.

I doubt the kings would ignore the fact that the scourge of Accel World is now under the control of SC who is a subordinate of BL. The same king who declared war on them. I am pretty sure they strike at NN with everything they have before NN gains momentum. Essentially, SC will draw premature aggro on NN before NN can stand a chance against the legions.

Well, there has to be a way for him to overcome Chrome Disaster, since right now, he is the owner of it. Either he destroys it or tames it, it is still currently on him. Eventually everyone will find out when it is released in full form.

Niko will eventually find out, so Haru will have to resolve that relationship regardless of what he does, if the perspective that she will be angry comes true. As for the other kings, striking prematurely will be dangerous for them. Facing both an equipped Silver Crow and Black Lotus is an extremely dangerous move, where there will definitely be casualties. I'm not sure the kings would want to risk losing Brain Burst like that, even if it is an eventuality.

I don't think that Haru is actually aware that he has Chrome Disaster. Therefore he hasn't actually betrayed anyone...yet.

Seriously guys, I cannot stand Noumi anymore. His mere pressence on-screen makes me to sucker punch him to the end of Earth.

Now, thing is that Chiyu won't talk, and alleged she sided up with Noumi out of her free will. Chiyus' motivations are hidden, but I can read they imply that she's helping Noumi for both Haru and Taku's sake, that is until the primary conditions Noumi laid out get fulfilled.

Next, Haru's trying to cope his own sense of misery regarding his powerlessness to save Chiyu and keeping things secret from Kuroyukihime about Noumi and Chiyu, because pretty much Black Lotus won't think it even once to crush Noumi along with Chiyu posing an escalating threat towards her legions if ever she finds out.

Haru's nightamre was so way creepy and messed up, becoming an almost Ganon-like, fiery, hulk pig crushing Kuroyukihime to make her his in misery and pain together forever, and that is definitely a side-effect of the thing that took possession of Haru's dueling avatar when he fought Noumi at the start of the episode.
