blame the current organiser for restricting the voter so much even some people in japan can't vote.

Saki already isn't as dominant as Madoka was. Saki characters can actually be defeated without cheating (Takakamo Shizuno, Fukuji Mihoko). Toki's power will probably be needed to beat Akari unlike the Madoka fanbase who got even put their 4th or 5th strongest (Kyouko) over Kuroneko.

Matsumi sisters are 1-2 in total votes so far in R2. Note that the next two are not from Saki (Akarin, Ririchiyo).

Picks: Momoko, Poplar
Predictions: Nodoka, Poplar

Poplar: "I'm not tiny!"
Airi: "Which means I'm..." *wails*

Madoka in J-SaiMoe 2011 was like the original nWo. Few in number, but all elite.

Saki in J-SaiMoe 2012 is like the watered-down nWo that you saw after the Wolfpac split - Much larger in total number (and hence impressive that way), but there wasn't the same elite depth there (a lot of the added guys were just average).

Yup. The end result is the domination of particular factions.

Could Saki dominance be reflective of the 'sum of it's many parts'? As some people follow an actresses careers right through, the same must be true in the non-visual-voice realm. If we look back through the various CVs then there must be some holdover fans from as far back as Tomorrow's Nadia backing Nodoka's run for example, her 'partner in crime' Saki herself brings a small slice of the Nanoha base with her as well, Hisa is as much a 'second chance draw' for Hingaku supporters as Yuuki is for the Kyugu Army. With the new additions this has grown exponentially therefore ergo the dominance of 2012.

The Saki fans end up siding with Nodoka leaving Momoko behind. I was hoping Momoko would still get enough support for second place but I guess it doesn't really matter. What really surprises me is Poplar getting taken out by Airi. I should have given Airi more credit after she beat Tsubasa in round 1. You can't even blame the Saki fanbase for this upset because H Block doesn't have any Saki characters.

Saki fans get to take a breather today and tomorrow before having to fight for Ako. Hitagi looks to be the front runner in the first match. Aria might give her a bit of trouble, especially with Shana in the other match, but Hitagi should still win. The second match is a tough call between Shana and Kuroyukihime. The other Kugimiya Rie characters looked good and so I'll back on Shana still having it.

Votes:
Senjougahara Hitagi
Shana

Predictions:
Senjougahara Hitagi
Shana

Been a while since I last posted. I see Saki fans rallied around Nodoka for the most recent match, but I'm not sure I could say Stealth Momo was thrown under the bus due to the now usual, low overall vote numbers. 'Tis a shame Poplar didn't make it in her match, though.

*cue Futakotome*

Hitagi gets my support for this day's match. She's an integral part of my undeclared signature seven, after all (no actual sig either ). Tough call between Shana and Kuroyukihime since I like 'em both, but I think I'll go for Shana for one final time.

After the disappointing defeat by Yuu two days ago, it seems today might just be brighter. With the combo team, its quite hard for both of my waifus can be defeated so easily (with Aria the weaker one, but she's facing Crab so it ain't as bad as Shana)

In any case, voting on Shana and Aria, for obvious reason.

It was a tall order for Airi to overcome Poplar, but she managed to do it. That's twice she has proven me wrong. I look forward to her next match against Shana (or Kuroyukihime).

Picks: Hina, Shana
Predictions: Aria, Shana

This match intrigues me more than anything because this winner of this one gets a free pass to the group finals, more than not.

I wouldn't say it's a free pass when you have to get past Yamada Aoi or a character that beat Yamada. Atarashi Ako or Ika Musume would be the big favourite to win, but it is a match they have a chance of losing.
