There was an article posted a few pages back detailing how the Romney camp started their campaign in the negative since they couldn't directly attack or defend Romney (via ads) until the Republican Convention (when Romney became the official nominee). Consequently, they felt Obama was able to shape the election discussion during those summer months when Obama could directly attack Romney, but Romney could not attack Obama. I found that reasoning a little silly considering the Republican party (and others) had literally been attacking Obama for over 4 years at that point in his career, and as this brief game has showcased, has so thoroughly entrenched the mindset of the American people with a wide assortment of disparaging (and often times paradoxical) "slurs" and defamation. I may not necessarily like Obama as a candidate or President (he is definitely the lesser of both evils in his respective election, but he has only done an okay job so far), but damn if I don't respect him for the sheer crap he has to put up with from nearly all sides. |

Well, scientific research confirms what we have been talking about, human intelligence 'peaked thousands of years ago, albeit I think I see clear and present proof of a rapid deterioration since the start of the 21st century.

Yeah, like Van Jones, Valery is something of a fruitcake.
Some of the clowns Obama has surrounded himself with mirror the people that George Bush Jr. had around him only instead of sounding like Fascists, Obama's 3-ring circus sound like Marxists. They're broke, while Texas is not. Texas seems to be doing quite well for itself. I highly doubt it would become a 3rd world country. Of course, I also view all this secession talk as saber-rattling to explain to Obama that he DOES NOT have a mandate (as if any President does), and he needs to behave himself.
