I'm not too optimistic about the announcement of Destiny HD being real since the blogs didn't comment anything, but I am reminded of how SEED HD added some Destiny cameos as a foreshadow to the sequel. Also, I think Gundam SEED HD was announced in late 2011 just like this time so it's possible an official announcement could happen. Dreaming is free.

Yes its real, the official website states that Destiny is coming, and Gundam Seed Destiny has been added to the Remaster Project top.

Another post. Destiny HD is official! It was announced at the of the last SEED episode in HD. The image with Shinn says "DESTINY IS COMING".

Why would they want to air the second half of Destiny again? That needs an entire remake, not an upscale.

Sunrise too cheap to remake the animation and Fukuda loves it the way it is so he would never remake the story. Still don't know how they'll fix the stock footage problem. Over half the show is stock footage.

It definitely will, but you'd think they wouldn't be so eager to remind people how...interesting that show was behind-the-scenes. I guess it didn't really have anything to do with them, though.

And Fukuda was lying about that, I'm sure.

Most people don't care about or aren't aware of the behind-the-scenes, whatever that may be. The show was popular enough, and that's a good enough reason as any to capitalize on with a remaster.

Anybody know what mobile suit this is?

I was watching the last episode of the remaster and saw this. Don't remember seeing it before. It's like ZAFT's super prototype of Justice and Freedom. It has the railguns and beam rifle of Freedom,the jet pack of Justice and both of their beam sabers.

And is the blue one in the background, Shiho's DEEP ARMS?

It's the GuIAZ Experimental Firearms Type, a GuIAZ designed to test out the Freedom and Justice equipment. And yes, that's the CGUE DEEP Arms in the background.

And this too, I guess it's an ace custom, considering the T on the shoulder. Anybody know who's the ace? Definitely an unsung hero. Survived Jachin Due and carrying people away to safety.

Because they weren't in the original series. They got added into the movies and then the Remaster.

All I’m asking them is to make the DEEP Arms appear more clearly in action even if it’s just a glimpse. They don’t have to voice Shiho or kill her. Is that too much for you, Sunrise?!! For god’s sake
