Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge (The Severing Crime Edge)
Original creator (manga) : Tatsuhiko Hikagi Plot summary : The story revolves around Kiri Haimura, a boy who loves to cut girls' hair. He happens to meet Iwai Mushanokōji, a girl with long, beautiful hair who is known as the "Queen of Hair." Her hair has been cursed to be forever uncuttable, but Kiri happens to have the "Crime Edge of Separated Cut" — scissors that have the mystical ability to cut her cursed hair. Kiri finds himself protecting Iwai from descendants of murderers wielding "Killing Goods." Note : Hikagi launched the manga in Media Factory's Comic Alive magazine in 2009, and Media Factory is publishing the sixth compiled book volume this week. Sounds interesting. I like this kind of concept, and since I am supposed to like stylish characters' haircuts, I'll have to make sure to check out !

I have long been intending to read the manga of this, but I never got around to actually starting it. And now the anime adaptation is announced.
Looks like I stalled too much. Gotta start reading before this comes out. Or I could just wait for the anime... Anyway, I'm keeping an eye on this title.

One of my favorite mangas of all time is finally getting an anime... I'm so proud and happy! Along with the long awaited volume 6 coming out in 2 days, this week could not have started off better for a fan like me.
Although I don't really know if the manga has a good place to cut off and end a first season with... maybe if they get to animating all 6 books, I could see it working out, but I'm expecting an anime original ending or possibly even an open ended gateway for a possible second season. Anyways first things (season) first, I've always dreamed of this getting animated by a good studio, so I hope it happens. Don't let me down world!

Hmmm, I had forgotten all about that manga. It was a unique premise, or at least a unique weapon being used, and I liked the main couple; they were really adorable X03, considering the bloodshed. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to this one.
