It's so lame when a game has a platform-staggered release. I hear Dragonborn is the first DLC actually worth buying.
As for this discussion about mod authors, I see no reason why they NEED constructive criticism. Most are not doing it as a living. If an author doesn't want to hear it, then I think that's entirely their right.

Actually on the Nexus, only staff can delete comments. Mod authors/uploaders cannot.
My armor is officially done. I'm testing it now. If everything works, I guess it'll get uploaded for public use tomorrow at the latest.

It'll be all right if the armorset works with UNP (tried CBBE once but I'm not too fond of outsized chests).

In regard to that, yeah I took the pains to switch to UNP from CBBE and have no regrets about the time spent. I can now construct tall, slender characters and short petite characters who don't look like they're going to smack themselves in the head during combat with certain parts of their body.

Well, looks like I'll have to reinstall the game and everything, after my attempt at a new playthrough met a script error causing a CTD upon leaving Whiterun (it's an LvlPredatorScript.psc script bug, and tried vainly to find a way to fix it); somewhere when loading a completely vanilla savegame (the very first one I had since June) with the existing mods and fixes, it also introduces scores of running scripts which adds up to the savegame's bulk and possible script conflicts.
Good thing I was able to save my character's face data, and by now have an idea of what I will be installing (including textures and meshes).

Make a new IP-address, use a proxy or VPN, and make a new account. Or just sod it and find a different website Oh, and Skyrim. Great game, but too easy with sneaking. Played it through with a backstabbing illusionist and handled the bigger menaces with archery. Got to the point that I just ran through the dungeons unhindered and whacked mobs only if they irritated me. Anyone know a good difficulty overhaul mod? |

I believe that SkyRe and some others also attempted to create a more comprehensive sneaking system, taking advantage of acoustics and sound dampening, the use of shadows and so on.
There are also some scaled difficulty mods, but your mileage could vary.

Yeah, I might be on the look out for a sneak mod as well... skipping through dungeons at 100 without even a need to use shadows isn't really that much fun.

Here's what I've found on Sneak, I'm probably going to try this one first:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23353 This one looks more interesting but it requires more research and mod changes than I want to mess with at the moment: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15515 I didn't really like the other ones I found and otherwise it was just silly 'godmode' mods. Here, let me just mod this so you press one button and it says "U WIN, U LEET" yay ;p Quote:

Spent much time working on a Breezehome mod intended to be used more as a "plugin" than an outright renovation, which adds a pool, a latrine, study carrel and a pumping station to the home; should go along well with my favorite mod -- Breezehome Fully Upgradable -- and it doesn't interfere with the general functionality of the vanilla house.
Right now it's still WIP and I'm trying to figure out how to get a companion to follow in easily, but otherwise I think it's the only renovation/plugin mod with live Slaughterfish. BTW, Shana/Kugyuu add-on for Additional Player Voices: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28262/

Whoa, I was the last post on the page. Gonna plug it again here so no one misses it:
The Dragon Knight Armor Feedback's been great so far. Most everyone loves it, and more than a few are requesting a no-skull variant of the gauntlets. Should've thought about that beforehand... but ironically it was the skull gauntlet idea that inspired the mod in the first place. But making the new variant is up to hothtrooper; I've already got everything and more out of this mod. Hope the rest of you enjoy it as much as I am.
