Anime or manga that takes place in the future?

So today I was looking for any manga or anime that the setting of the story was in the future. You know where they have better technology etc. I couldn't find any so that's why I made this thread. If you know any anime or manga like that please let me know and as long as is not yaoi I would read it/watch it.
Examples: Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei(manga) Psycho pass(anime)
Something like that, I don't mind it if they are more futuristic though.
And happy holidays
I forgot to mention that I already read Freezing and just finished Muv luv today.

Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere, Reki Kawahara's works and Robotics;Notes are something I can think of.

How about accel world and sword art online? They both take place in the future and have better technology.

If you can hold out for maybe three or four months, Space Battleship Yamato 2199 will be on television starting sometime in April.

Sorry, but I have to throw in a quick comment here. Gundam 00 is the only Gundam based in the AD/CE timeline that us real human beings live in. It's also set mainly on the planet and within orbit of the Earth.

So, futuristic anime with technological advancements? This is going to be fun!

All Macross.
All Gundam.
I've seen Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars mentioned and I'd give lots of kudos, IF WE HAD ANY TO GIVE!

Chrome Shelled Regios is a post-apocalyptic sort of ordeal.

Ghost in the Shell is a pretty obvious plug, but just in case you haven't seen it you should.

Heatguy J is near-future, and has some fun stuff in it. Plus it's about an android!

No. 6.

Outlaw Star. Maybe Trigun, although it's post-apocalyptic.

Scryed.

Soukou no Strain

Soukyuu no Fafner (not very familiar with Fafner, I think there are multiple series and OVAs and such... Ehhhhhh complicated).

UN-GO

Wolf's Rain.

Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon.

That's all I can think of for now. I tried to stick to anime that clearly had technological advancements compared to our current time. Nothing borderline and nothing that had those advancements but focused on the human element, thus making the technology an unfocused aspect.

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon actually takes place in the past in A.D. 1400s, just future interference has advanced the current time's technology drastically. It definitely counts as futuristic, just does't take place in the future.

-The Irresponsible Captain Taylor
-Infinite Revius
-[C] - Control
-Guilty Crown

When I said Far Beyond, I meant Far Beyond our timeline...
