This series is probably one of the better survival type of genre...Romance, Action, Suspense..... simply something I'm hoping for a second season.... I swear to god if its one of those animes that are inconclusive for over 2 years I'm seriously going to stick a Remote Control type up the Manga artist's ass and threaten him until he writes more.... Yes, I'm addictedXD

If that's the case the a$$hole of the mangaka for Highschool of the Dead is pretty mangled by now...

So the anime managed to stay true to the original source and have an inconclusive yet satisfying ending.. I won't lie, I'm impressed.

I heard it wasn't doing to well sales wise. Hope that's not the case, because this first season was intensely fun. Plus I really wanna see what happens next.

How many volumes does the first season cover? I wonder how long it'll take until they release a second season.

Edit: Apparently the first season covers chapter 1 - 50 and they're at chapter 61 right now :/

BTOOOM! Online game producer Masato Hayashi says if the game ranks in the top 5 of Japan's app sales chart, a second season will be greenlit.
