Platooned with Irenicus, and while we ended the night with only 4 wins out of 12, when things went right, they went marvelously.
Spoiler for Spoilered for size:
Both of us were using M4s by the way. In the first game I pretty much nearly single-handedly cleaned up the southwestern flank, while in the second one me, Irenicus, and a T1 heavy saved the game by virtue of going to the city, when apparently the enemy team just elected to go field. They were up 2-5 at one point, and the north side was this close to collapse too.

Frankly, if I see a KV-1S firing 2 shot in a time span that is less than 7 seconds, I will charge straight at him with my T29, otherwise I always have to be really careful around that guy.
Tried out the Chinese line, and I think I'm going to have another garage slot.

We ended up losing. They had 2 tanks surviving. Their WZ-120 had I think 8 kills and was paired up with a surviving Tier 8 tank destroyer. The up-gunned Type 59 is still wreaking some havoc ..

Was fighting two Löwes. I moved slightly back when I sensed an incoming round, so that Löwe 1 shot into Löwe 2 and TKed him. Then I proceeded to kill Löwe 1. Pretty nice game, with godly artillery. |

As you go up in tiers, the grind to reach the next one increases. If you are a more casual player, I would suggest trying out a few tanks from different tech trees first to get a feeling for them, before researching too deep. Money makes it easier, but is not really necessary at any stage to advance.

Lower tier games tend to be more relaxed. Once you climb up the tier ladder, things get serious. Loss or destruction of a tier 7 and/or above in higher tier games can seriously turn the tides of an ongoing battle. Teams often cry foul when their largest tanks are taken from them. Its understandable Quote:
And no, premium tanks are not better than normal tanks of the same tier. - Tak
