I'm leaning more towards Tamako/Midori for now but saying that Mochizou should just disappear is mean for he did nothing wrong to deserve such treatment =/
He is nice/friendly and helpful... I wouldn't mind to have someone like him around.

To be honest, there is nothing impressive about the second episode, but I continue to experience warm and fuzzy feeling watching the interaction between everyone in the market.

It's the same thing with Nanoha six years ago, and it continues to be a nasty tradition today.

Well ... I still liked ep 2 but somehow while the series is very engaging for me the main chara (meaning the girl - not the bird) still has this "odd" feel to me somehow.... I wonder if it will be
unpacked" more as the eps go on?

This is such a cute slice of life(with a talking bird) anime but why is this buz buz buz ed music so fitting.. And why doesn't get this anime more posts? I thought, this series would be a blast and would get to the front page, right away.

Those who dislike Dera are probably not going to enjoy this week's episode, unless the other character this episode focused on manages to win them over. I can't say this episode did much for me, although I did like it.
I still love Tamako's straightforwardness, honesty and optimism. These are traits essential to a slice of life main character. She's the type of person you can't help but like. It seems like the next episode will focus on Anko. I'm very much looking forward to it. She looks adorable in the preview.

Tamako Market 03 - Obtuse Reference
Though Tamako is the one that has her name in the title, I suspected that this was going to be a show with a well developed (or at least quirky) supporting cast. Which is why Shiori, though she was in the OP but had never been met before now, getting an episode to herself is something I'm okay with. Dera (I should call him that) once again served as more of a catalyst, in this case for Shiori. Shiori's coming out of her shell was pretty heartwarming to watch, thanks in part to the always great atmosphere work that KyoAni has got down to an artform. But the thing I took the most out of this episode? Kanna. There's really only one way to describe her character. It's such a unique quirk that she instantly grabbed my attention, and I want to see more of her. Still enjoying this show. Though reevaluating it a few episodes into its run, it's really closer to a (slightly) less fantasy-based ARIA. Looking forward to next week's episode on Kyouko Ankh Anko. |
